Euros lived up to the hype. Dem Germans always are great host. England was better in '24 than 3 years prior but the opponent was too. Espana deserved and celebrated so.
You are my Jigga but not once did I see Copa playing in Deutschland. Tourists definitely wore kits. And in discussions Messi is adored but the Tournament is shockingly out of view & out of mind.
Footy was born here and the greatest player will always be from here.

Tell that to Messi, Maradona, Pele and Distefano, tbh.
FrostKing back into the Argentinian side.
ing hypocrite French, when they won in 2018 they sang a song that said Messi was a "midget" and they have players on video being racist towards Asian people, but now want to act all inocent.
The worst part is that if you trully understood the meaning behind the song, it is more about anti-colonialism with hints of transphobia, than racism. Yet they cry racism.
In any context, it's just football banter and I can assure you that all of the players that sang it have nothing personal against Mbappe, trans people or French. You can't judge people by your own set of principles without taking into account the context and culture of each group of people.
Meh, besides France being a POS colonial country - if you're ing stupid enough in 2024 to willingly snitch on your entire teammate bus chant with something that will be taken as racist/transphobic/discriminatory by posting it worldwide on social media, you don't get to play the 'context' card....especially when half of his club team is African
Don't get me wrong, I'm not excusing the players, just giving context. Argentinian football songs are full of phobic, xenophobic and racist remarks, but nobody really pays attention to the lyrics. You just sing it because that's the culture you grew up with, but it doesn't mean you mean it. I have sang "today we ed those Brazilian gots" countless times, yet I'm fully pro-gay rights and I have nothing against Brazilian people.
It is ignorant, yes, but saying the Argentinian players are racists, xenophobic or transphobic for singing that song is like saying 90's rappers are phobic for using the word got.
Again, I'm not excusing their behaviour. Hopefully after this incident they realize they are professionals and they can't act like any other common fan.
Germany in 2014 sang "Gauchos walk like this" while mimicking an underdeveloped human being and nobody here cried, tbh.
The funniest thing of all is Europeans crying racism while Africans are loving the song.
Well, in the '90s there were US Congressional hearings about rappers and their lyrics so that was definitely the discourse back then
Not that I personally GAF about ignorant banter/trolling but I assure you everyone on that bus is looking at Enzo like a fkin idiot. Maybe it's a gen z thing to record everything but I wouldn't exactly take Spurstalk banter/trolling and post it everywhere including my place of work. Now the only thing left is to play victim/double down when this could all been avoided by keeping what's on the bus on the bus.
You are 100% right, they were ing dumbasses. And I don't see how they can play victims, in fact they haven't. Enzo owned up to it and apologized.
Everyone has had racists/xenophobes actions or remarks in their lives. Absolutely everone. Anyone saying they haven't is full of . The problem is people taking these isolated actions and thinking that's necesarilly who that person is in their core, when that seldom is the case.
Not sure what they're upset about, truth was spoken, tbh...
I mean, easily half the national team is of african descent. Unless they find somebody pointing out that fact offensive, dunno what they mad about, tbh
FrostKing thoughts?
Have to speak Polish or else will struggle & be replaced
Growing up in California, I'm more Liberal than the average Polak. My stance overall is if someone can take the time & has desire to learn Polish then they are one of us.
When Poland was off the map for 300 years, our ancestors kept our language alive. Our culture is directly tied to this.
One is only Polish if they speak Polish
