What’s the point of doing all this stupid Sochan PG, Wemby 24 min a game shadow tanking to win against the one team we need to lose to?!

What’s the opposite of a gutless worm?!

    Fire Pop???

Doesn’t matter at the end of the day. They’ll draft a no offense little defense undersized wing who has high character but secretly molests women with whatever pick they would get from Raptors anyway. I’d rather just see them try to get an actual starting SF and not try to get a PG in this draft and wait for a better established playmaker to open up via trade/FA

Who gives a , we don't get wins very often. We have Wemby, we don't need to play like the 2012 Charlotte Bobcats when we already have him.

Don’t wet your panty. The Spurs are still at 3rd and Toronto at 7th worst records.

true, I loved the game last night. But it kind of was like shooting a metaphorical bullet through CIA Pop's shadow tank club band's collective hearts. No way Pop is tanking on the low low and somehow let's that pick be decided on this game.

Toronto looks terrible, though, to be fair. Worse than us, which is okay and everything, but I'm be less positive about the pick conveying now.

Toronto is fckn awful. That pick is not converting this year
These are the teams near Toronto:

    4) Charlotte: 12 wins (last 10: 2-8)
    5) Portland: 15 wins (last 10: 3-7)
    6) Memphis: 18 wins (last 10: 1-9)
    7) Toronto: 19 wins (last 10: 3-7)
    8) Brooklyn: 21 wins (last 10: 4-6)
    9) Atlanta: 24 wins (last 10: 6-4)
    10) Houston: 24 wins (last 10: 4-6)

So the ones with a worse record are getting worse, and the ones with a better record are distancing themselves, which should put Toronto comfortably in the 6-8 range, with chances of conveying being 54% / 68.1% / 73.8% respectively. That is the sweet spot, and if it doesn't convey it shouldn't be a catastrophy. You people need to chill.

Toronto can't get out of that 6-8 range, no matter how hard they try.
As per usual (a part of) Spurstalk is having a meltdown over nothing.

Toronto is better than they were last night. We had them down by 22 in the first meeting, just a terrible match up, I'm guessing in part because Sochan neutralizes Barnes. But they nearly beat OKC last week etc.

This draft isn't good enough for me to give too much of a about tanking or whether the pick conveys this year or next.

I honestly would rather it not convey this year and get it next year. But then Toronto will likely be worse next year than they are this year.

It's top 6 protected in 24, 25, and 26 and converts to two seconds if it hasn't conveyed by then.

If we had won a game against another team, what would have been the difference ? At this point, it's between Memphis and Toronto to see who has the 6th worst record. Then there are the ping pong balls also, so one win by the spurs isn't going to make that much of a difference. Besides, next year's draft looks to be a lot better.

People need to calm down over this win. It was exciting to watch Wemby dominate the craptors though.
