Schiff will almost certainly make Senator, but as polarizing as he is and with CA zooming right at the moment (yes there is an asymptote to that at roughly the middle of "Likely D" in California) don't be surprised if the margin is much slimmer than anything CA has seen in twenty years or so.

Not many years back (we) thought that California was on the very verge then of going ass over the teacup. What'd they do, rebounded something fearsome; money coming in from every angle possible. Now they're down in the dregs once again. I wouldn't count them out until they yelp "Uncle!"
There is still a California dream alive here. Large percentage like myself weren't born here but chose to stay and want it passed on, even with its current faults. As I leave I'll always consider myself American to a good extent but more precisely California. I want it to prosper but respectful whatever path the people choose.
