The damage, as far as you were concerned had already been done, Lue. Passing Daddy like that was a crusher. And the kicker? The livin' end? That feud never existed upon the earth, ever. It was all a put up job by Media, like Mantle & Maris, Ruth & Gehrig, Bette Davis & Joan Crawford...all of it is that s MSM. Though the aforementioned parties were in on it as well.

Phil had a kidney stone stuck.
He named it Kobe because it wouldn't pass.

Lebron wiped it all out at Staples. All of it. Your legacies now are subservient to an Akron native and you're relegated to ing your mother some more.

What in the is wrong with you of late, Lue?

But you're right on the LeBron wiping it all away. The glory days are all gone, forever. (He) cut the bridge behind himself on purpose, so, we can never have it again. It was mean-spirited of him and driven caustically by his hatred of White, him being Black. As you get older, Lue, you learn, you find out that what you'd heard as a youngster that ["Nothing lasts forever."] is pure, unadulterated truth. You believe that during your tenure on earth you'll break that assured threat, but, you don't, you can't because it's not within your scope of power. All I have now, all I ever had of the Lakers were the memories, one-at-a-time as they came at me thru 6 decades '60's-thru '9 & '10 seasons. I was extremely fortunate all along the way. There wasn't a wrong that wasn't righted, a score that wasn't made whole thru my perceived and beloved vengeance. The players who understood the losses and MSM involvement in their fellows downfall and made everything right---right thru the '10 Finals. I couldn't have asked for more. There isn't anything that I am left wanting for with the Lakers except greed that it would never end. But, like I said, everything ends. And the "Lakers" have ended.

Boiled down, Lebron wiped it all away. Imagine being from Cleveland, front running the Lakers only to have a Cleveland guy wipe it all way.

It is tragic, the more so because James seared it into the annals with racial tropes top to bottom, end-to-end, would & will not ever stop. & you couldn't stop him with silver bullets and a wooden cross even if you tried.. One can't ever consider going along with him on that crusade, and frankly he didn't want us/Whites. Other Whites portend (it) didn't happen like, that it was not James intent, but it was, he'd been waiting all his life to unleash on White. Floyd was the prime conduit. So, it was easy for me to let go right from start of his maniacal fit&quest. What I have in my heart, my mind and my soul about the Lakers can't be touched by any one, or, en y. That's my salvation. I don't have to worry about what could have been because I know, I experienced what was: the losses, the victories, the natural ups & downs, the comebacks, the abject failures when I cried like a baby in '83&'84. All of that, the triumphs and tragedies are all part of my life and I wouldn't trade any of those good times & bad times for anything. Those were the Lakers finest hours and mine too. Because (we) answered every call to arms. Nothing was left undone. Nothing. How special is that in a person's lifetime, to have every single want satisfied fully. It was like a miracle, God had watched out for me in those times of trial and tribulation. I never thought we answer back back after '83-'84. I crawled in a corner, attained the fetal position and just existed upon the plain. I love talking about it. It remains a living miracle.

    LeBron was late, thank Christ.

We're already past the inflection point of everything going to sh1t in The West in general...if it wasn't Lebron it would have been somebody else. At some point, the Lakers (and every other team's) best player will be an illiterate broccoli head mulatto whose inner circle consists of millionaire black YouTube/Instagram influencers who got rich by doing "stolen luggage" pranks at the airport or going on the street and asking drunk women what their body count was. Enjoy the good times while they last I guess...

...true, we'd dodged some heavy bullets along the way, some close to knock-out punches. Those last two rings were extremely fortunate set pieces to bring the end to fruition. We were at once vulnerable with Floyd cratering with James hitting gold simultaneously. There was nothing for MSM to save about the Lakers at that point, so, there was no need to try...instead MSM helped burn it to the ground once and for all and we had to join the other 30 teams and take ownership of our own "illiterate broccoli head mulatto." It's horrid and vulgar, but unstoppable.

The American Indian thought the same thing and ended up on reservations making a living out of monetary set asides & casinos.

Figures, you're short that 1 that woulda put you at 6 and solved a multiple of endeavors coming & going. + you never did go back to back 3 times and a triple once. Kobe did all that...+...he even did that 3rd back-to-back without Daddy. I thought MSM was gonna have a baby after Kobe sent Boston back across the country without (it).
