It's no secret the government steals the most from the poorest communities and it's been going on for decades. Meanwhile big businesses and corporations and the oligopolies pay next to nothing after myriad tax breaks and loopholes galore and we're expected to think it's okay.
The biggest bugaboos are (a) massive inflation since 2019 which has not yet fully returned to earth, (b) the massive $30T+ deficit, which has increased in every presidency since Carter I believe [but was worst in Bush and Obama years and in 2020 specifically], and (c) the housing affordability crisis.

Also, non US Citizens working in the USA, including those I.T. Indians making WAY too much money, should be charged a 70% income tax, no exceptions.

I believe the most common sense style government is a right-wing populistic, nationalist government with an elected legislative branch (house and senate) and an appointed but not elected, potential family-passed-down executive (presidential) branch. Do away with elections regarding Article II. The article III stuff can stay. Limited power for the unelected fourth branch. And a common sense approach is Third Reich Germany style common sense national populism but instead of scapegoating our own citizens, the immigrants and foreign nationals should be scapegoated.
