    Welcome back fellas

2nd season of the latest Postseason format resulted in another Wild October. But let's remember the regular season also enjoyed fresh faces & surprise struggles by long time contenders.

It was a season with ballsy changes to the everyday game and overall widely enjoyed by fans.

We enter 2024 with few overall changes but a uniform controversy. All jokes aside 2024 is a season with more hopeful teams entering the regular season than ever before.

Recap: Padres score 1st and respond to Dodgers score to uphold lead

    Then 8th inning...

Padres are strong team. Tough to win Division without pitching depth. Bats start pressing. We shall see it all play out.

Incredible comeback by Padres vs Cubs. Could be season changer for real. Came on the heels of pathetic choke the game before vs the Bob Melvins of all teams.

    0-8 to 9-8.

I wish the Pads would get rid of Fatchada but it not only is never going to happen, he is the Sacred Cow.

Padres gonna surprise this year tbh. Sucks they lost Grisham but flipping Soto for pitching depth is gonna pay off in spades. Also helps Cronenworth is having a bounce-back season.

    Tatis is the real deal

I attended first game on Tuesday. All the boys were watching tonight. Great back.

Only doubts I have with Tatis is his maturity. The talent is there, he just needs to utilize it. Merrill is also a stud; should've been a regular last year but the Padres had Soto.

Players today are so emotional on the field, I like it. Tatis went overboard vs Cubs but this subdue reaction @ Chavez Ravine was perfection. Act like you expected it. And the team responded.

The whole over celebration thing I've discussed with buddies. Braves today with Ozzie, Acuna and Arcia train hard but have fun on GameDay. Braves in the late 90s were tight. Too professional. They are saying Soto is adding e to the tight Yankees clubhouse.

After watching Soto the past season and a half with the Padres I don't see how he's worth the contract his agent is expecting. He has no legitimate future defensively and his offense is overrated. Getting walks in the regular season is nice but in the postseason you need to be more decisive with your at-bats. Think he'll get the same contract he was offered by the Nationals but sans the franchise-legend status he could've had if he stayed put in Washington.

    Are you serious?
Hits the epic go-ahead and what should have been game winning playoff HR vs the Phillies in Game 5.
BobRon Melvin counters with Medina in relief as they choke the game away.
Last years Soto, all things being equal had an excellent years.

Now he's off to another excellent year with the Yankees.

The owners have obviously colluded to put an end to the ridiculous salaries.
Ya ya Ohtani but he's freakin Babe Ruth and he deferred his entire salary.

    Is.

Why the Padres attached their wagon to super immature Manny Machado is beyond me.
Hopefully leadership moves to Tats and others as a core and they can drag phat ass to a Chip.
