damn rascal 25/32 in the first round is boss
On this topic, which games should we be watching that may correlate best to realistic Spurs draft prospects?
Kentucky and USC errrrmmm, wait.
Colorado (Williams), Baylor (Wlter), UConn (Castle, Clingan), Tenn (Knecht)
Thank you sir!
But could you not also include tip off times?!?
Add Kansas (Furphy) to the list... on right now..
Didn't include him because no way he deserves to go in the lottery, and you don't want to be watching him and Kansas getting run out of the gym, he's 3/12
Tennessee plays Texas in a couple hours. Other 3 teams all play tomorrow
Kansas had a bad game, but in this draft i won't be surprised if he goes in the late lottery. He's a young high-floor guy and teams will be attracted to that in a poor draft.
But but he’s about 6’9 and makes some 3’s so he’s basically the same player as Risacher!
he may pan out at be an nba contributor. I’d draft him in the right spot. But i don’t understand why he should be considered “high floor”
he’s not a good defender, he can knock down 3s but he’s not exactly a specialist with his numbers. And has very little self creation. So imo his floor is quite low. He’s 6’9 and a moderate athlete but nothing special
He's a smart heady player that fits in a system. He'll always be a solid guy as long as his outside shot translates. That's pretty much 'high floor' in this draft.
Personally, I don't see anything elite as to where he can raise anyone's ceiling, but being as young as he is, I think some GM will believe that he might have some untapped upside there.
I may even break out a second TV for this occassion...
(I live in Knoxville, the "real UT").
Furphy might not be on the same planet as Zaccharie, but he’s in the same universe.
Zaccharie’s last 12 games: 8.5ppg and 10-41 (24%) from three.
His game today: 5/12 fg on 48% TS. A big two more field goals made over Furphy.
I don’t know what Zaccharie’s doing to warrant any mockery of Furphy’s play today comparatively.
