So your argument here is that Pop didn't overestimate the team, but instead he has so little respect for the fans that he'll just blatantly lie to us?

I try to lean in the optimistic direction with the Spurs always, but I’m genuinely conflicted with these last two games. I don’t want a false hope team that impresses the FO enough that they justify running it back. This team needs an overhaul. Sochan has earned another season, Vassell is a maybe, and obviously Wemby are the only ones I have a moderate attachment to. Everyone else I hope finds themselves off the team in the next two seasons.
