    Thanks for the grades.

I thought we were gonna blow this win. Proud of how the team played hard and didn’t give up when New York made their comeback. Victor is a monster!!!

Giving Devin a c is absolutely absurd when wemby went out he single handily kept us in the game

Great win. Making me once again question my assessment of this team. Sochan is earning himself maybe not untouchable, but high price tag status. Vassell hit some clutch shots down the stretch so I can forgive a little of his play earlier in the game. Of course our guys would lay eggs all season and turn it on now, making it difficult on the front office this offseason. Still a lot of fun to watch this win!

I thought too first but he’s right about his decision making, we should see more improvement considering he’s shown he can be at least decent when he wants.

+ it means Timvp has higher expectations of him now (for the same reason I’d have given Tre a better grade because we can’t expect that much more of him)

Finally timvp gave Sochan his due. POA defense on the best players regardless of position is hard for a 20 year old PF.

Thanks Timvp. We needed the L, but I’m not complaining. It’s easy to forget that Wemby is a rookie, because he was tough under pressure. The kid delivered and answered back during clutch. It was a great win. I would’ve preferred them keeping the big lead. It was only at the end when Pop decided to send Tre help dedending Brunson. I still would’ve liked Wesley on Brunson during that Knicks’ comeback. On yeah that swagger walk by Wemby was something. And that little speech at the end showing his maturity and love for the Spurs, boy are we lucky to have him.

A little stingy on the grades, and I somewhat agree, with the way they gave-up the big lead. I thought they could’ve attacked the rim more especially during that stretch, doubling on Brunson on the defensive side, and/or make him play defense by taking him to rim, force him to switch on Vassell, etc to make him play both sides of the court more, whatever. I thought they were relying too much on 3 pt shots at times, instead of cutting and attacking the rim during the 3rd period. And looking at the FG attempts, only Wemby and Vassell have double-digit attempts. They cannot start watching Wemby and Vassel. They need to continue cutting, setting picks and getting open, attack the rim, etc especially on that 3rd quarter stretch. I understand that Keldon was not 100%, but Branham, Osman, Champ, Collins need to stay aggressive. It was a monstrous game by Wemby, but the next step would be, finding ways to get the other guys going also, and not necessarily carry the team by himself. But he’s a rookie, and he responded in clutch, he had a great game. But intelligent people here would know what I mean.

    Great stuff.

Was great seeing Wemby put up this performance since Hartenstein and Robinson just destroyed him their first matchup back when Victor was not at all ready for their physicality. But like we have been seeing all year now, teams don't figure Victor out in later matchups, he figures them out.

Great win! Thanks for the grades.

Add some shooting to this squad and Wemby's assists will go way up. I hope this summer brings some new players that get us moving in a more skilled, heady and balanced direction.

Thanks for the review. Would have been ok to see somebody rough up Brunson a bit during his lights out performance, ala Bowen or Horry. Hoping Sochan can evolve into a gritty defender. Nice showing for the good guys.

Poetic justice Tre putting down those free throws. I've heard some people gripe about Wemby throwing the ball in the stands, but it was his to throw. What kind of compe or wants a bell where they scored 61 and lost? Happy for the the kid who caught it! That will be memorable.

I know most people want the L but these are the games helping our young guys grow in leaps. Great game to watch. Brunson is really impressive too. Hope OG gets healthy for the playoffs!

Lots of people here said we've been purposely tanking basically all season.

They're the ones taking an L right now and falling flat on their faces

better to missed ur shots early in the game while the team is still in the game, then missing consecutive shots in the 4th quarter when game is on the line...
