True but Lady Gaga would be an overkill as the lyrics are horrible: "Batman, Batman, Batman! Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na. Batman!"
I didn't even make it to the songs in A Star Is Born. All the previous versions of that movie are, you know, watchable.

Ra ra ra ra ra muh Joker face
???? Haven’t watched a FF all the way through since the 4th. You could have picked anything else besides that ass franchise
My point is critical acclaim doesn’t necessarily match box office numbers
A musical? I dig the cajones. Swing for the fences, give us a different Joker experience.
I think the movie may end up pretty decent afterall. Lady Gaga is a good actress unlike dumpster said above. She has gotten rave reviews for her acting in previous movies.
djohn ruins more things than hater tbh
Wanted to just chill in a theater so we went to see this as this seemed the best of what's currently out there.
0/10. Just a movie that had nothing to say and literally went nowhere. Phoenix singing as hard on the ears. The movie is called Joker and there's no laughs to be found, in which I was expecting at least some dark humor.
They should have just remade "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" instead.
Welp, not even critical success.
Was this movie made for the sole purpose of pissing off incel fanboys who think the first movie is aspirational?
yes, also to piss of the suits that wanted Todd Phillips him to make another one
Todd Phillips is such an untalented hack made a bland Scorsese ripoff with the first Joker, and now tries his hand at cinematic nihilism and fails miserably. Thankfully this should torch his mainstream career, and he can just do direct to streaming garbage that nobody watches. Maybe make Hangover 4 if the cast gets desperate enough.
Scorsese even worked as a producer on the first movie for years, so he probably came up with most of the good himself
He came up with all the good Joker stuff in 1978 and 1982. It was fun because Taxi Driver and King of Comedy fit the Joker character pretty well, but it was so derivative it might as well have been a Duncan Jones movie.
Why?: The Sequel
