I planned to start a new 2026 thread for next week instead of waiting until traditional signing day in February since things are already moving quickly, and there's a Junior Day on the 25th.

Everyone cool with that?

Let me know if you have any ideas/suggestions on how to make the thread better, want to add/change reference info on the first page, etc.

Open to anything, especially if it helps newer folks better understand recruiting and all of the constant changes.

I very much appreciate all the info you have to look up.
I am flexible with anything that you want because it’s worked out very well in my opinion.

Burton at OTF said it's now better than 50/50 that this starter remains at Texas.

IT added that the staff spoke with him well into Wednesday evening and all info points to him staying.

do you think if the starter remains on the team we will be able to find out who it was (past tense)?

Guys like Taaffe and even Alex January that are probably given what they want as we probably know they like the school.

On3 reporting '26 RB target Javian Osborne of Forney will be back on campus for Junior Day next weekend.

He will be at Georgia this Saturday.

OTF confirmed that CB Malik Muhammad is returning next season despite offers from Oregon and others.

However, they did say to expect one portal entry soon.

Some talk that it's mental health/family issues, but A&M 247 suggesting it's an "entourage" problem.

I don't think it's a coincidence that Tech went on a spending spree in the portal, yet there didn't seem to be much of an effort to keep Hudson.

Lol when Hudson entered the portal, McGuire got some heat after he said "yeah I texted him"...... fans were screaming at him to get him on the phone or drive to to his place and camp out front.
