Sorry for Behren but I love Hammond
"Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter won the 2024 Heisman Trophy on Saturday night. The award ceremony, which took place live in New York City, named Hunter the first two-way star to win the award since Charles Woodson in 1997.

Deion haters have all disappeared
Not sure what you mean by that last comment. Hunter was the #1 ranked recruit in the nation, so it's not like he came out of nowhere. He was a baller from the start.
Maybe that Deion did not ruin him?
Anyways.
Travis Hunter was much more of a two way guy than Charles Woodson. Absolutely incredible player.
And personally I think Deion played him too many snaps but the guy definitely wanted to play. I think Deion possible limited his total plays for 2024 but Im not sure.
When Colorado played Stanford (2023), Hunter was absolutely exhausted and got beat numerous times by a very good WR on Stanford (had almost 300 yards receiving and it basically beat Colorado)
I definitely thought that was too much PT trying to cover a receiver one on one of that caliber and play WR.
But in the end Hunter is the Heisman winner and possibly #1 draft pick. So you cant dismiss the highlights that come with many two way plays. And the fact Hunter was excellent at both.
