Final was also down at least double figures.
Viewer Fatigue? Combined with NFL Playoffs? Too many games in a row?
Was it Th-F-Sat-Sun and then Sat-Sun-Mon ?
I think yeah i think the days were weird
I would do the same.
One interesting point is if this year was 4 teams, Ohio St does not get in most likely.
They were the best team by the end of the year. The Michigan loss lit a fire.
The problem I have is the first part of the season is not worth enough. I value consistency. Just don’t lose.
And I definitely get rid of conference championships. Play more games in conference and then write up the same crazy tie breakers they already have for getting into the conference championships to determine the champion of the league.
Will be interesting to see if we get undefeated National Champion teams in CFB again. In the pros, the Miami Dolphins really accomplished something I guess. Because pro football is built for parity, CFB is not at present or past.
We now have regular season, then two separate playoffs in CFB. Very messy.
"...Here are Kiper's running back rankings:

How is Skattebo that low
Maybe they think he does not last long.
I have not seen enough of all of them but I know Jeanty had wiggle with more speed and took on secondary guys more.
Skattebo seemed to find DL to wrestle with it seems as well as running over smaller guys. And then you got pass pro and ability to run the correct routes out of the backfield.
Again, I did not see enough of either but this could be what Mel and some others see.
Skattebo is also not that big for the style of running he used in college. Avoidance of collisions with large humans is preferred for longer usage I guess.
I wonder where they have Jeanty going overall? As high as Bijan? 8th?
The thing about Jeanty for me was his level of compe ion. When Boise got to the playoffs his numbers were nice but nothing spectacular.
Not sure he's the #1 back in my book but still should be fun to watch in the NFL
Yeah this is where it gets difficult. The way he rag dolled guys in the secondary was quite unique imo.
The thing is he may have had obvious holes to get to speed to show the attributes off. ( sort of an eg of what you mentioned)
Bijan did not rag doll guys like that. He was often jumping into and back out of openings that collapsed or just jumped here to there in the backfield to avoid getting tackled for big loses. I think the pros saw this along with his ability on pass routes. Bijan did not have the Oline to show off as much imo. I use Bijan as an example mainly because I saw him encounter what should have been very frustrating difficult situations for him numerous times. Numbers could have been huge with some blocking in Big 12.
