Theoretically it wouldn't be anti-democratic to have a new primary now that the nominee who won the delegates from the main primary is dropping out willingly and not being forced out.
    14.5 million voters prolly disagree
What they are fixing to do if they run Kamalua off is Chinese style Democracy

They voted for Whitmer in 2018 and 2022, but in 2022 the other candidate was another woman and one who believed in a total abortion ban

But yeah Kamala is an anathema to the white female over 30 crowd as well as white working class male independents/moderates

Low turnout election on the left for sure. The Dems still have time to replace Kamala but tick tock, tick tock.
Best thing Kamala can do now for her party is announce she won't be running for president or VP either. Clear the field
Yeah, that's not happening. In an ideal world, the ticket would be Harris-Mic e Obama, which would be a landslide victory for (D) and completely devastating for Trumpworld. Losing to two black women would be the nail in the coffin. But that ticket ain't happening, tbh.

That's pure wishcasting. Unless you're running for president of Wakanda, that ticket would be a landslide for Trump-Vance in any world of reality. Will Hunting and other reasonable Dems would back me up on this. Spurminator too.

Ideal ticket for the Dems right now is Whitmer or Shapiro and a white moderate democrat. If they want to win more than just the deep blue states, that is. You have to capitalize on Trump being Trump by catering to moderates, not fringe progressives.

Please. Michele Obama runs, and the race is already over. She's just unlikely to run, that's all.

She's not going to run but her best opportunity was in 2020, imo. And if she were to run the other person on the ticket would have to be a moderate white dude, and ideally one who's not geriatric

Not really. But, she is likely a top-of-the-ticket person. She just honestly doesn't seem interested in running for office.

I think the VP pick is going to be Roy Cooper. He's term limited, 67, white, Jim Clyburn will push for him, and could help bring NC into the fold.

    Harris
    Sharpest prwsident ever
Harris says she spends so much time with Biden he was in great heath. Age was not a factor. She said that thousands of times. She lies 3/4 of the time she speaks.

Gov. Whitmer won't accept VP job if offered: 'I'm not leaving Michigan'

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer told a local news outlet Monday that she would not accept an offer to join the 2024 Democratic ticket if it were offered.

A local news reporter with WLNS asked Whitmer if she were prepared to take the job of vice presidency alongside Vice President Kamala Harris who is now running for president.

"No. I'm not planning to go anywhere," Whitmer replied.

"I am not leaving Michigan. I am proud to be the governor of Michigan. I've been consistent. I know everyone is always su ious...I'm not going anywhere," said Whitmer.

When pressed why it took "so long" for Whitmer to endorse Harris, who announced she would run for president after president Joe Biden dropped out of the race on Sunday, Whitmer said she "wanted a minute" to "let the dust settle."

However, Steele was unhappy it had gotten this far.

"I think what we should be is disappointed and angry because it should never have gotten to this point in the first place," Steele said in a video posted to X. "And I don’t even mean since that debacle of a debate on June 27th when the mainstream media just magically decided to admit, ‘Wait, maybe he has some cognitive issues. Maybe he’s not fit to run for reelection. They were lying from top to bottom for years and covering up for him sadly.

"We should be so disappointed in his family, in his wife. How, as a spouse, could you allow your husband or wife to go ahead and proceed with something so big (and) so important when you know that as a human being, they are not OK? That, to me, is disgusting. That’s what I’ve been saying since I interviewed Joe Biden just a month or two after he took office. That was 3 1/2 years ago and I noticed in my interview before the conversation began that he was struggling.
