I'm assuming it's and X-10 deal. Hopefully the team brings in a couple of additional players to compete for that 18th spot. With Mamukelashvili coming back, the Spurs don't NEED to use the spot on a center. I think they still should though. That's a thin pipeline at the moment.

Has a better base than Bonner (although the overall visual effect is that of an oversized rec league player). But physical profile aside, this guy can flat out play (he pretty much does a little of everything and a lot of high-end shooting) and he looks like he may only be scratching the surface.
I had the impression they were somewhat "hiding" Minix in the last game and hoped it might be a good sign for an imminent signing.
They don't have to hide him any more.

I believe they are on the right track in looking for new players to add to the roster in order to waive some players who simply haven't panned out as expected. I expect all of us have our favorites on the "should go list". We are giving some new blood the same chance those non-developing players got.

He’s not really similar to McDermott imo. Shot is way slower. Doesn’t shoot off movement. But he had some interior scoring skills. Don’t know if he is big or athletic enough for it to be a factor in the nba though
