Don't get me wrong Pep deserves all the spoils but I was fully into his period at Bayern and it failed. One can make argument he helped build the foundation of eventually UCL Champion and - most importantly - Pep shaped the Germans resulting in the World Champions at Brazil. Germany couldn't and still struggle with Italy/Spain
Good coach but he always he never a backup tactical plan and relies too much around on a couple of players to build his systems around
In Rodri’s case he is their only MF who can thwart counter attacks, and without him they are exposed (especially with his full backs participating in the offense)
