I wrote this at the end of last season and it holds up pretty well after week 1. I would probably add Dak over Lawrence in the HM, and we have to see how the wild card looks tonight.
This is how far ahead.
Yeah that was right after he missed his open receiver by 5 yards on the last play
Ive always been a Burrow fan but no way he’s #2 right now. I think like 80+% of his throws yesterday were dump offs within 5 yards of the LOS.
hes always been ty in September and his receivers are banged up, so it could be different in a few months, but right now idk if he’s even top 5.
Bengals have a toxic locker room. The SB run blew up alot of their egos. Mixon took a shot at his former home recently.
I’m a big Stafford guy, and honestly think he belongs in Top 5 tbf
Joe Oveburrowated snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Watch the media put the blame anywhere else, though.
If the Bengals had Josh Allen, they might be the team to beat in the NFL, instead of the Chiefs, tbh.
Moar Mahomes greatness.
Breaking News: Jared Goff is still Jared Goff.
lol @ anyone thinking they can win a Super Bowl
current rankings tbh fwiw imho
1. MAGAhomes
2. Allen
3. Stroud
4. Burrow
5. Herbert I guess? Woof we are in a real valley of terrible QB play.
If this is 2024 rankings, then Carr should be on your list right now.
Passing TD's: 5 (1st)
Yards Per Pass Attempt: 11.4 (1st)
Passer Rating: 142.4 (1st)
QBR: 96.2 (1st)

Speaking of right now. 2nd consecutive subpar season? Turning 29 years old soon. The less he runs, the more he turns the ball over.
Yeah when they double team Traylor kelce who is he supposed to throw it to? His top two wide receivers have a combined 1 full year of NFL experience
Will gladly trade you Rashod Bateman for either of them.
Except when it matters most.
BREAKING NEWS: Derek Carr is still Derek Carr
K, take Rice
So, let's recount Burrow's game today:
-He throws an interception when the Bengals had the game in the bag.
-He can't do with 1:31 to go, 3 timeouts and needing only a FG to win the game in regulation.
-After the Ravens practically gifted them the game in OT, he can't mus more than 3 ing yards to get his kicker closer. The bad hold probably doesn't matter if it is a 40 yard kick instead of a 53 yards one. And don't give me the playcalling excuse. You are the QB, you have more than a say in that.
Yet, I just know the narrative tomorrow will be "look at his numbers (without a mention of those coming from him being a YAC merchant), what more can you ask of him?"
And this is exactly why he's the most overrated player in the league. It is not because he's bad, he clearly isn't; but he's more in the 5/6/7 range than the second best, as many people had him when his defense was leading him to the SB.
Wait, it gets better. The Bengals head coach said that he called a pass and Burrow audibled to a run in that OT series.
“We called a pass. Joe (Burrow) actually did a great job getting us out of it back into a run because the look was not there to throw it.”

You Burrow Haters are pathetic.
