If he fails this year again (this was the last year of his original contract from 2021) I'm officially jumping ship. Maybe to the Texans, idk. Have to prove Stroud is more than a one year wonder.
The problem is the Cowboys do have the talent now and while tanking would have been a great option in like 2019 into 2020/2020 into 2021 considering those draft classes were considered stacked at QB, even this past year, this year is a lousy year to tank and there aren't many elite college QBs entering the NFL on the nearby horizon, just more read option non pro types that are easy to figure out in the NFL, and I-don't-knows like JJ McCarthy and Will Levis.
Prescott has proven himself to be a playoff failure like Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen, but he's good for 11-12 regular season wins a year, and that's more than good enough for Jerruh to make money and stay in the spotlight thus keep him around until the wheels fall off.
