you didn't see it. Typical white guy.
All it took was an old white guy to beat Trump. Sad.
you didn't see it. Typical white guy.
lol
Hegseth admitted he had “consensual” sex in that rape case in monterey…but when asked if cheating on wife #1 with wife #2 and then raping that woman - or having consensual sex was ok when wife #3 had just given birth was ok for a man leading the military and professing to be a devout christian…
hegseth returned to the mantra “false accusations”
until he was reminded that it was HIS admission of “consensual” sex….
i guess russia is happy that trump is installing other rapists/unqualified leaders in positions to weaken our country…
Senator John Tower. Learn your history, TSA.
Lol "hypocrisy".

ASEAN has nothing to do with the military it’s an economic union. She’s an idiot for asking that question during a SECDEF hearing and you’re an even bigger idiot for thinking that’s a gotcha
Your only arguments so far against him has been from an anonymously sourced Jane Meyer article that was torn apart by verified sources who put their name on the record and him not knowing everything about an economic union![]()
I'm still waiting for you to find "solid" ones. Chop chop.
His service record while serving speaks for itself.
HE'S A FUNCTIONAL ALCOHOLIC
COLLINS: How's the bad behavior of a senator a defense of someone who wants to run the Pentagon?
SEN. MULLIN: It's not. What I was trying to get to is if you're capable of doing your job and you're able to still drink on the job or late in the evening, don't tell me that Pete can't
Nov. 21, 2024 -- Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III concluded his engagements with counterparts in Laos today, where he attended the 11th annual ASEAN Defense Ministers' Meeting-Plus (ADMM-Plus). His participation reflects the importance of ASEAN centrality to the Department of Defense, and highlights the practical cooperation with ASEAN since the United States elevated its relationship with ASEAN to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2022.

In November 2022, Secretary Austin attended the ASEAN Defense Ministers’ Meeting (ADMM) Plus and an Informal ASEAN-U.S. Defense Ministers’ Meeting, where he reaffirmed the U.S. commitment to ASEAN centrality and a strong U.S.-ASEAN defense partnership in support of the U.S.-ASEAN Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Key U.S.-ASEAN defense and maritime initiatives include:
As a co-chair with Thailand of the ADMM Plus Experts’ Working Group on Maritime Security, the U.S. Department of Defense is supporting ASEAN’s efforts to advance regional capabilities to address shared maritime security challenges.
Through the Emerging Defense Leaders Program and other initiatives, the U.S. Department of Defense intends to invest $10 million each year to support the next generation of civilian and uniformed defense leaders, providing unique training opportunities and building an alumni network that will facilitate long-term friendship and understanding across borders.
ASEAN and the United States are partnering to counter illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing, including through U.S. support for the ASEAN Sectoral Working Group on Fisheries and cooperative efforts to combat forced labor in the region’s fishing sector, including through the U.S. Department of Labor’s Addressing Labor Exploitation in Fishing in ASEAN (ALFA) initiative.
The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) is significantly expanding its partnerships in Southeast Asia, including by deploying an Indo-Pacific Support Cutter, which provides multinational crewing opportunities, conducts training missions, and participates in cooperative maritime engagements with the maritime law enforcement agencies of Southeast Asia. USCG has also established a Southeast Asia Training Team to provide expanded capacity-building for the region’s maritime law enforcement agencies.

You mean the part where he said he told his troops to ignore commands about when to fire on potential enemies?
DOD Release June 10, 2022 -- Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III met with Southeast Asia defense ministers from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam in Singapore today to discuss ways to deepen cooperation to address regional security challenges.
Secretary Austin reaffirmed the U.S. commitment to strengthening its partnership with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and support for ASEAN centrality, highlighting the U.S.-ASEAN Special Summit, hosted by President Biden, as a demonstration of that commitment. He emphasized the vital role the ASEAN Defense Ministers’ Meeting (ADMM)-Plus has played in building stronger multilateral defense cooperation.
Secretary Austin also discussed opportunities for increased maritime security cooperation with Southeast Asian partners, noting that effective maritime security is essential to the prosperity and livelihoods of the people of Southeast Asia. He also highlighted new U.S. initiatives announced at the May U.S.-ASEAN Special Summit and the Quad Summit that will enhance maritime transparency and build capacity in Southeast Asia, including through new U.S. Coast Guard activities.
Secretary Austin expressed his concern over the situation in Myanmar and thanked Southeast Asian partners for negotiating the ASEAN Five-Point Consensus to attempt to resolve the crisis peacefully. Southeast Asian defense ministers and heads of delegation shared similar perspectives on regional security challenges and the importance of cooperation with United States, including in key forums including ADMM-Plus.
The Ministers closed the meeting by reiterating their commitment to working together to address pressing challenges in the region and to continue these conversations as they work toward a successful ADMM-Plus in November.
