10-2, but look absolutely terrible and generally barely squeeze by against any sort of compe ion, even average teams.

Also, I don't like the ultra-late byes that some of these teams are getting this late in the year (December). Some teams get byes in October. Huge disadvantage there.

If the league wants to change away from the 16-game schedule with a bye, they need to not half-ass it with the 17 game unbalanced crap/ and go with an 18-game-in-20-week regular season, where each team gets an earlier season/ October bye and a later season/ December bye. That would be fair. Each team would get 9 home games and 9 road games. Also, start the season three weeks earlier in August and return the Super Bowl to the first Sunday in February, not push it back. There's literally nothing else going on in July/August other than ugly midseason baseball which nobody cares about so might as well have training camp/preseason then and start the regular season in mid August.

Of course Goodell's darlings the Buffalo Shills and their most pampered QB in the league get the latest possible bye.

That’s funny, because I distinctly remember them having their bye two weeks ago…and now the Ravens and the reigning NFL MVP are on their bye week.

That was a bull recency-bias MVP. His stats weren't even that great. Definitely anomalously low passing TDs for any recent MVP QB winner. Jackson just had a great last 5 games or so of 2023, but the rest of the season he ranged from to a bus driver.

This year I'm saying Saquon Barkley has to be the frontrunner, if he get 2k+ yards and the Eagles are top two in the conference he deserves it, like Adrian Peterson in 2012.

Trash Allen just had the most "Allen Iverson" game in NFL history.

Trash "Bird Brain" Allen, the perennial close-game choker, with the mind numbingly stupid decision to go QB sneak instead of audible into a pass play from the 1 when down 2 scores with a minute left (9 points in this case), knowing (??!? you'd think, but he's bird brain) that losing any one of your 3 timeouts loses you the game because onside kicks don't work in today's NFL. Tom Brady affirmed my argument essentially verbatim during the moment it happened.

you pass for 3 touchdowns, you rush for 3 touchdowns, you lose. Because you're not clutch. Like the Houston loss early this year, like the hilarious way Allen choked in the Minnesota loss in 2022. Kind of like pre-Heatles Lebron or pre-GSW gots Durant. Buffalo beats bad and mid teams by 30+ points and loses almost all the close games every year because Bird Brain Allen isn't clutch. The Chiefs and Mahomes win almost every close game and will occasionally suffer a bad beat but they're clutch and that's what matters in the playoffs.

It's why, despite the fact their careers taking snaps at starting QB in the NFL started the same season (2018), despite both having consistency at head coach and Allen having by FAR the better offensive line consistently throughout his career, Mahomes has 3 championship rings and 4 super bowl appearances and Bird Brain Trash Allen has zero rings and zero appearances a career of perennial playoff choking.

I know who I'm taking come playoff time. And, KC likely only needs 2 wins to clinch the conference, since Buffalo ain't winning at Detroit.

Saquon Barkley for MVP. Dude is gonna crush 2,000.

It worked, but explain me how is it a good idea to go empty backfield from the shotgun on 4th and 1, with Cooper Rush as your QB?

The funny thing is the Bengals gained possession way short of the first down marker. There's a legal blackhole there, imho. Why should it be Bengals ball if they didn't get enough yards for the first down? It's not like the Cowboys had possession of the ball, it was 4th down with the Bengals in possession.

How so? At season 8, I find that to be quite an impressive feat, tbh.

It's impressive. AFC West has been down post Rivers/Peyton but far from the worst division. Harbaugh seems to be already making waves, guy just wins.

Other QBs that joined and dominated their Divisions - I'm thinking Brees & Warner.

Neither coming anywhere close to what Mahomes has right now. I think Blake didn't quite get what that stat means, tbh. In 8 seasons you play 48 divisional games and can only win 8 divisional les. You need, at least, an 86% winning pct. to have more divisional les than losses, that's insane.
