Kind of surprised they're saying surgery is an option. When you catch cancer early on while it's still really localized you'd figure it was the only reasonable option.

Prostate surgery is a delicate one as it often results in quality of life consequences like sexual issues and/or urinary incontinence. Doctors are now trying more and more to cure/manage prostate cancer without doing a surgery.

It states that doctors recommended he change his diet, what would he be consuming that was contributing to prostate cancer? What he says about his job and who will be there at the end is damn ass true. I love the Spurs, but in the end it’s meaningless. It’s literally adults playing a children’s game

Everything humans hold as true from country borders to the value of currency is a big ass game of make believe we all can either participate in or starve.

Outcomes with radiation therapy may be comparable with less, though not zero morbidity

He probably has a cancer that is low risk of spreading. If it's just sitting there and not going to be the cause of your death, then no need to expose the patient to unnecessary surgery/radiation.

You can’t just leave it, or it will spread. Once it’s in the lymph nodes, you’re cooked.

Also possible colostomy bag, depending upon what they have to remove. Not something anybody is rushing to sign up for if they don't have to.

Depends on the type of prostrate cancer. I had one older friend that lived almost 20 years beyond his diagnosis & I don’t think the cancer was what got him. Had a younger friend that had an aggressive form and he unfortunately went very quickly and it wasn’t pretty.
