I've been saying this he played 2 good games against us (0-2) while being a scrub the rest of the way

    That Lakers team is awful.

LeBron is washed. Lakers either don’t notice or don’t care. Yes, he’s putting up numbers but anyone can in Adam Silver’s NBA. The guy is cooked - role player at this point.

They traded him to the nets a couple weeks back.

Lebron probably retires next season. Father Time has finally hit.

Yea feels like he's just going through the motions at this point for longevity stats. Plays absolutely zero defense anymore so he can conserve all his energy for the offensive side of the ball, and they usually hide him on that end anyways by placing him on the worst offensive wing player or big. Turns the ball over way more than he used to. Generally just looks disinterest if it's not a scoring opportunity for him. I think next year might be his last year too tbh.

This team is cooked. Zero fight again. They might be bad enough to finish bottom 12 at least. I don't see another W on the calendar until they play the Hornets in Feb tbh.
This was a lowkey huge win, tbh That Chicago meltdown could have been the start of a long ass losing streak that takes the legs out of their season but they have lucked out with the postponement of first Lakers game to regroup some. The schedule is brutal for next month. Barely a gimme..

Is it just me or are these Winnable games?

Memphis both at home: I expect a split
@ Miami: Bam is ass this season, they're still in that Butler saga - W
Ind both in France: I expect AT LEAST a split
vs LAC: L (could go either way)
    vs Mil: L
    vs Miami: W
    @ Mem: L
    @ ATL: W

Damn, we really burned them in the 2nd half, we were on fire. Scorched earth play, our starters came out in an inferno after halftime and really smoked em and set them ablaze. Hopefully we can continue to be arsonists

Man if Devin could give us this consistently we'd be cookin'. Castle I don't expect this from consistently yet, but it's always a massive difference when his shot is falling.

I fully expect Devin to finish with 8 points next game.

One of the rare good matchups for Jeremy, if he doesn't have a great game tonight he needs to be benched.
    Or that

Yeah, at this point noone can deny we're way more fluid without him in the lineup.
Castle is a better prospect and if Mitch benches him in favor of Jeremy yet again, I'm afraid someone else is calling the shots, everyone can see the obvious.

if anyone ever were to ask me what the Spurs Talk Forum is like I would just suggest that they read through a game thread such as this one and that's all they need to know about the pendulous and knee-jerk behavior of this forum.

I’d say stop experimenting with the line-up to get players consistently. The thing that really caught my attention was posting Barnes. That was effective as with his veteran experience where the help is coming, punishing his defender or passing to a cutting Vassell/Castle or open shots. CP3 recognizing that and situating everybody. They should run more of those alternatively with Wemby, in and out. That’s why I don’t see Sochan being effective consistently to run those types of play without able to consistently shoot it.
