It's actually good that we only play 1 game instead of 2 back to back. Most of the time teams split these series. Hope we can steal this one. Spurs need to attack Austin Reaves everytime and keep the pace high to run LeBron off the floor.

Really hope coach and staff didn't squander an unexpected break like this. Not sure what's realistic to expect here but some drills, extended practice or even just extra film study if you don't want to run the guys. Something to take advantage of the break more than just the reported one shoot around for an hour, that's gotta be a media decoy.
Oh well, even just 5 unexpected days sleeping and resting in hotel rooms would be an unusual advantage to any midseason NBA player. Or is it such a long duration that rust issues begin to arise? Reminds me of back when Spurs were contending. Time off between series was a goldilocks equation where too much or too little were curses and it had to be in the middle just right.
Yeah you can it's going to be one of those nights where the Lakers are going to be on fire all night long and blow us out early.

Yeah, probably my least favorite schedule-related tinkering by the league. Same goes for the home-and-home 2-game series like the recent Denver one. They are extremely difficult to sweep unless you are the vastly superior team. We have a two-gamer homestand against Memphis after this one. I would be shocked if we go 2-0.
Maybe it is time to get a win against The Lakers and prevent them from becoming like the Doncic-era Mavericks who have pretty much owned us since he came to the league. AD has been a difficult match-up for us, but we need to shut down their scrubs.
I'd be pretty surprised if the Spurs sneak out a win here. Imagine the emotional win the Lakers want to get due to the fires, etc on top of them already being a match-up nightmare this year.
The good thing is that DLo isn't on the team anymore. That scrub lights it up every time.

It's gonna be an emotionally charged Crypto.Com Arena when the Spurs step on the court. They gotta be charged and energized, too, and jump out there with a good lead. Sadly, once Wemby sits for his first break, the Fakers will go on a scoring blitz and as predicted, they'll be right back in the game. Hope Mitch and the coaches have addressed this problem, which is a lineup issue. The Fackers seem to be a matchup problem for the Spurs, too. Hope Wenbanyama and the rest of the team will show up for this game and get a Dub. GSG!!!

As somebody that lives in Los Angeles, I can tell y'all right now...the Spurs have zero chance of winning this game. Just be glad they postponed the Saturday game
