who
Weird trade tbh. He kinda sucks.
Homeless man Cam Johnson. Fits into the remaining of the Room exception. Probably gets waived.
Now hope they go for the real Cam Johnson.
End of the bench scrub who's averaging 2 ppg. Weird trade unless there's more coming.
This dude was a bust everywhere he played including college, right? Weird trade. Unless it's a precursor for something else?
This guy was highly ranked in High School, and then cratered in college. Think something to do with his dad. Seems like its all between the ears bc the talent was there.
But in reality this is probably a $$ move.
cash to get MIL under the second apron probably
if we can pull cam off that would be a perfect trade deadline, we need a shooting scorer still so bad, that 3rd qt was brutal
Hey, free player.
I remember draft discussions. His dad coached him in college or something to give him as many shots as he wanted and he was effing terrible and got drafted on supposed upside or whatever. He sucks.
This team needs a big man to backup Wemby not another SF/PF.![]()
Probably the best way to describe him. Looks like the Spurs may have just been doing MIL a favor with this deal.
The Lonely Ball Pit of Patrick Baldwin Jr.
Can his salary be rerouted in a trade for a big? I would think that’s what’s going on
I hope Spurs got Lessort NBA's rights.
The one with the squinty eyes.
Ugliest player in the league.
Seriously doubt he's waived if we just paid cash plus I'm assuming his $4.42M option has been picked up.
Never heard of him, but turned 22 in November. Officially measured a 6'9.25 w/o shoes, 7'1.75 wingspan. Good size & good rebound for a 3, but that may be it.
Scouting report from Draft calls him a former top 10 class recruit, lacks athleticism and explosiveness, tested poorly at combine/one of lowest verts ever recorded, stiff laterally, but good ball-handler for size, decent on glass, uses length well, not bad running the floor/long strider and adequately mobile, high release=difficult to block
Bad shooter in one year in college 26.6% on 5.8 3pa, better in G-league 34.8% on 6.1, better in NBA but 91 games across 3 years @ 36.6% on 2.2 (8.9 per/36).
Warriors drafted hit at 28th in 22'.
Sounds like a cheap flyer with potential contract trade value.
Spurs look to be piling up young projects on smallish expirings, Bran @ $4.96M, Blake @ $4.73M, Bassey $2.5M, now Baldwin @ $4.42M. The 1st rounders all come with bird rights, don't know about Bassey.
$16.61M in expirings with at least some potential, could be very very useful in facilitating multi-team trades
If it's just a financial trade, it would be a little disappointing that Spurs are still doing that. I hope there is a second round pick involved, or, even better, the draft rights to Mathias Lessort who will solved out backup C issue.
