I am a doctor and on a Linkedin group of health professionals. A dying young man with a terrible cancer reached out to the group as his insurance had died a transplant needed to potentially save his life. I and other doctors were exploring some options including clinical trials, when out of the blue Mark Cuban messages the chat and the man he will cover it all out out pocket.. It has happened and I am now also a Mavs fan and have corresponded with Mr. Cuban giving thanks.
