Treating a lady right means mutual respect, and I doubt you had that.
Addendum: I'm not getting on some high horse here. We've all been guilty of this at some point in time... usually because we liked the person we were with a LOT more than they liked us.

I'm with easjer, that's the best. Yes, the dramatic romantic gestures are wonderful, but it's the day to day so-called 'little stuff' that really works for us.
The last romantic thing I did for my husband was last night. I went to bed before he did and warmed up his side of the bed because he hates when he climbs in and it's cold.

Just because he showered his woman with attention doesn't mean that he's insecure about anything. Maybe he enjoys making her happy. Maybe she showered him with attention and constantly did things to make him happy too. Who are you to judge?

kindda funnie...me and an ex were just at home. she wasnt sleepy and neither was i. so we watched chick flicks all night long. we sat in bed and just talked. it was nice. we ate ice cream in our pjs and i plucked her eye brows for her. lol... then i warmed some french bread and topped it with sweetend condensed milk, and we watched more movies. we finally fell asleep at seven in the am, and slept like babies...it was nice.
