I'll come to your house and drink your beer but I'm still voting for the Libertarian. Don't ask me for their name I'll find it out when I get the ballot.
Damn. From Austin no less. Well, I guess I could vote for the Socialist-Workers party just for the of it.
I'll slam a few brews with a republican so they can write it off. :p
Damn, look at all that partying in Cali...
Maybe...just maybe...
I find it odd that a lot of people here are anti - Bush since you guys are located in Texas.
How is that odd?
im sure there are plenty of anti-kerry people in california...i dont think its odd at all
IMO, not everyone in Texas has been bush whacked.
So, he's from Massachussetts; what's California got to do with it?bandit:
"im sure there are plenty of anti-kerry people in california..."
I find it odd how SpursWoman said: I know A Lot of you are Anti-Bush, because Bush was raised in Housten and Served as a ranger and a fighter pilot or something. Since this is Texas shouldn't most people here be a Bush supporter?
You're assuming this forum is representative of the general Texas population."Since this is Texas shouldn't most people here be a Bush supporter?"
A lot of "us" does not necessarily translate into "most" Texans.
Get a grip, dude.
My bad.
Bush is not from texas, he was born in connecticuit and raised in the northeast, and later went to college at Yale. his ties to texas are basically his oil business and being governor. as for the california thing, im not sure if you were implying that in texas we should all be supporting Bush because he is republican and its a republican state, or the fact he was a political figure here. i guessed it to be the former, thats why i used a democratic state to show the population as a whole doesnt necesarrily sway one way or another, its just a majorityI know A Lot of you are Anti-Bush, because Bush was raised in Housten and Served as a ranger and a fighter pilot or something. Since this is Texas shouldn't most people here be a Bush supporter?
President Bush was born on July 6, 1946, in New Haven, Connecticut, and he grew up in Midland and Houston, Texas. He received a bachelor's degree from Yale University in 1968, then served as an F-102 fighter pilot in the Texas Air National Guard. President Bush received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 1975. After graduating, he moved back to Midland and began a career in the energy business. After working on his father's successful 1988 presidential campaign, he assembled the group of partners that purchased the Texas Rangers baseball franchise in 1989.
Bush spent most of his childhood in Texas. He didn't "grow up" in the NE. He did go to prep school and college in the NE.
W/E. I sad My bad. Isn't that an apology for my mistake?
Um, I wasn't referring to you. Relax.
