Two teams busy establishing themselves as the best of the Eastern Conference do battle for the third time this season. Each team has won on the other's home floor in the two previous meetings. New Jersey took the last game 82-75 on Dec. 27, part of a 7-2 stretch that propelled the Nets to the second-best record in the conference, behind the Pacers. With each game, this new rivalry, with Eastern Conference* supremacy hanging in the balance, becomes more heated.*

    Still rolling along...

    Pacers 87
    Nets 75

    Hey Poo Pooh!

How come you're hanging around gloating in the Spurs board when you're team is losing to the Eastern Conference Champion New Jersey Nets by 10 at halftime? I would think you would be watching the game to see if they would come back.

Not only is your name Pooh, but Pooh comes out of your words too. Did yo momma wash your mouth out with soap much?

The Pacers are going through a little regular season success right now, but they will have their slumps soon enough. I doubt they will do very much in the playoffs.

It took a miracle for them to beat the Nets from behind in the last quarter. Not often will a team like the Eastern Conference Champion Nets let a another team off the hook like that when they have them down.
