apparently two fans died while erecting a flag pole that got caught in power lines. they then tried to untangle it and got electrouctued and died. pretty sad but also pretty dumb

Stupid.

Sorry they died, but hundreds of thousands of people go to these events every year and when is the last time you heard about something like this happening? Plain stupidity. Contrary to popular belief, electricity is not new to Alabama.

(Sidenote: I did have to check and make sure this wasn't any of my relatives that attend all the races at Talledega before I posted my opinion... )
