It was a great season that ended poorly. We tried to play their game and took them to the brink even with the officials handing games 3 and 4 to them. No excuse for tonight - we had it won and let it slip. Time to retool in the offseason and come back next year with passion and fire to get back to the top. To all legitimate Mavs fans (not the es yapping in the forum) - enjoy the great win. Well - time to sign off for this postseason and see y'all in November!

I was pulling for the spurs.. I was out of my seat when Manu hit that three. of a run for a team going against the grain of what the NBA pictures the playoffs to be all about. Had it been Lebron or Kobe under the rim for the last shot, there would've been free throws. I'm very disappointed that we won't be seeing the spurs around this year come June, but I hope you guys continue to pull for the team on the other side that plays real basketball -- the Pistons.
Mark Cuban by the way, him and his little giddy ass pocket protector wearing assistant were ting bricks when Manu hit that three.
Once it went to OT i knew we were done. Duncan couldnt put it up. We needed to win in regulation. Oh well.
I hope to not see Barry in Spurs uniform come November.

I think Dampier and Van Horn fouling out was FOOL's GOLD which was why we went to TImmy and he made some crucial MIsses....Timmy was great though, gotta give him that, but Manu 's our 4th quarter guy. He woulda made several trips to the Foul Line, we shoulda used both Parker and Manu and not Tim...Avery Knew we were gonna go to Duncan after the foul trouble and we paid.

refs job doesn't stop with 5 seconds left on the clock in regulation call fouls when their made!
didn't seem to have trouble blowing the whistles to help mavs when the series in ot.

The only thing that makes me sad about this Loss is that we were right there with the Manu and Finley three.....
But like Horry says, You gotta have the luck, and we didn't get lucky with Tim and Manu's miss with the regulation close out.. THE MAVS are a great team, so there's no shame in losing to them....

Congratulations to the Spurs organization for a great season that resulted in 63 wins, the most ever for this franchise. Unfortunately, this "small ball" experiment turned out to be a failure. It's not the players' fault. They played their hearts out under strange cir stances and almost pulled it off. We will never know what the results would have been if Popovich had stayed with the lineup that landed him 63 victories. He gets some of the credit for the ooutstanding season, he gets most of the credit, in my opinion, for the unsatisfactory ending to the season. It could be that the Mavs would have beat the regular Spurs lineup anyway, but we will never know.
Ans, of course, congaratulations to the Mavericks for giving the basketball world an outstanding series. Congrats to the Little General for outcoaching Pop.
I hope Cuban gets gang raped by gorillas so his as can't watch the rest of the playoffs.
When that happens, I can finally support the mavs.
