miserable playing conditions, 40 degrees and constant rain, but still good baseball being played. Wheeler pitched 2 great innings after Cardinals took lead.....where was he in last series?

    Pujols > Bonds

Pujols is twice the clutch hitter in the playoffs.

Keep pitching around Pujols to get to Rolen, Garner, That short porch in right field will be nice on saturday and sunday this weekend.

    331 46 homers 121 RBIs

    350 5 homers about 10 rbis

Beltre PFFFT he had what, 2 hits?

Bond's team couldnt make it to the playoffs, wich, according to the reporters last year, Bonds got the MVP over Pujols cause his team got to the playoffs, so by that thinking

    2004 MVP, Albert Pujols.

Pujols is a great player, but he isn't close to being as good as Barry.

yeah cause pujols' .213 ba .731 ops in the playoffs is such hot stuff.

do you realize bonds hit .471 in his first world series? he had a 1.924 ops. oh and only 4 homeruns in the series. so yeah he all over pujols

    Right right.

    Pujol's 340 5 homers these playoffs stink.

BTW, who got more home runs this season, more RBIs?

    Oh yeah, Pujols.

Loose the hate children, besides, looks like Bones used SHOCK UPON SHOCK STEROIDS

Im waiting for Ice to defend his fellatio sister Barry on this.

Tpark, your stats are re ed.

Pujols had one more homerun than Bonds... IN 220 MORE ATBATS. Bonds had more INTENTIONAL walks than Pujols had TOTAL walks.

Pitchers didn't walk Pujols as much as Bonds because they weren't as scared of him.

RBI's are more a function of the ability of the players batting before you.

I'm glad you brought up the steroids issue though... because Pujols shows all of the physical signs that supposedly made Bonds such a "definite" doper.... fat head, sudden surge in size and power numbers. I wouldn't put it past him... we already know he's lying about his age.

TPark, now I'm as big a Cards homer as there is, but Pujols is nowhere near Bonds. Bonds is quite possibly the best player to ever play the game. Pujols is one of the best in the game today (so is Bonds) but he's still only four years in. His stats this year weren't much better than Bonds's stats. At this pace, Pujols will probably be in the discussion of the best players to ever play, when all is said and done. Bonds is already there.

Do you watch Giants games and see how many times Bonds is walked? It's ridiculous. Look at his on base percentage.

LOL, when did I say PooHoles was overrated? He's just not as good as Bonds. That's not an insult.

And anyone over the age of 25 can tell that Pujols is not 23 years old. We may never have substantial proof, but don't be surprised when his career declines at the age of "34."
