    1) Salary Cap & Payment

    -Teams must sign their players by September 30th.
    -Players will earn their pay from September 1st to March 31st(end of the regular season)
    -Total Salary for the U.S players (2 player) should not exceed by 280,000 U.S dollars
    -The highest salary for one player is 200,000 U.S dollars. Before this year, the highest salary should not be exceed by only $100,000.
    -Monthly pay for the U.S. players should not exceed by 40,000 U.S. dollars.
    -Playoffs Bonus : each team can pay 20,000 U.S. dollars if the team wants.
    -NO TAX for the U.S. players.
    -Teams will provides the apartment, every meal, and other things to live in Korea without any payment.
    -Players can be cut throughout the year (each team can change their U.S players two times before 5th Round - KBL regular season is consisted of the 6 rounds : total 54 games)


    2) The Qualifications for the players

    -There will be no TRY-OUTS for the U.S. players anymore. Instead of that, each teams can sign the players directly.
    -No age and college limitation
    -But, a players who plays more than two seasons for the NBA(from 2002~2004), can not play for the KBL
    -The player who are taller than 6'10"(208.2cm), cannot play for KBL[The Kim Jong-Il rule, apparently]
    -The total height regulation for the foreign players in each team (2 player) should not be exceeded by 400cm.


    3) If team offend against the rules about salary cap

    -Team will be fined one million u.s. dollars.(maximum)
    -Players will not play for the KBL forever.
    -Team must play the 18 games without one foreign players.
    -People who report the teams for the misconduct, will get paid 1 mil.

    It's a dumb rule and Koreans do some strange things.

    But at least they support the US in Iraq. I am not saying they sent a huge amount of troops, but they did send 3000 or so.
