I never believed in curses and goats until last year. The old Sox would never have been able to close out the Yankees in game 7, they would have come back from down 0-3 they just would have lost the lead in the 9th inning in the final game. Last night Schilling got into a jam after multiple errors with 2 out and his pitch count rising, the old Sox would have picked this time to fold and let the Cards back into the series. Instead Curt gathers himself and gets out of the inning. His play thru injury has simply been exemplary, and the entire team has shown resiliency thruout the playoffs. I've always rooted for the Sox, I just never thought they could overcome the doom that hangs over them. Well this looks like it could finally be the year.

Of course now I've probably jinxed them.


Now jim will say something like I told you they could win. Well jim no one ever listened to you because you're a blind ing homer like tpark.
