Does the curse end tonight?
There is one bright spot for Cardinal fans by losing the series....that would make the Cubs the lone icon for baseball futility.
Until next year...
The curse was dead at the end of the ALCS, it was all too obvious. No cursed team can win 4 straight against the Yankees, starting with an improbable win game 4, tieing the game in the bottom of the 9th against the greatest closer in playoff history.
Part of me wants it to continue to Fenway, so I can watch more baseball and watch them win in front of their rabid fans, but I do not want to temp fate and leave any doubt in the player's minds that the Cards can come back.
