I'm in Portland, so I might not be able to get the special editions, but I can get you a copy of today's Globe and Herald. Just give me your address.
Can anybody out there pickup a Boston Globe and the Boston Herald from today and any special editions they released last night.
One of my hobbies is collecting newspapers from big events and this certainly qualifies.

JB - I wanted a copy too, but I wasn't able to get one. The bookstores here sold out in five minutes. I went to Borders, Waldenbooks, Rite Aid (two locations), CVS, and five convenience stores. All were sold out.
Sorry I couldn't get you a copy. If you want a consolation prize, I'll be happy to send you the Portland Press Herald.

I couldn't find anything JB about the Boston Hearld, but here is some information about getting copies from the Boston Globe. Hope it helps you out.
Commemorative Globe: New England newsstands will be well stocked with copies of the World Series issue today for the regular newsstand price: 50 cents (75 cents beyond 30 miles from Boston). Out-of-staters, order with a credit card by calling 617-929-2226. The cost is $2, including shipping and handling.
