Sorry Mouse
Don't take too much more. It's looks like you've had enough.
Woo great start of the season with a W , fresh rebounding, our new starting center!!
Ah, my dang live stats aren't quite as live as I want them to be...
should we do a vbookie on whether or not Elson starts tomorrow night?![]()
*damn* didn't pick Elson in the fantasy league.
It shows that Elson is happy to be in SA after riding the bench in Denver. He is aggressive and it made a big difference. Great win to open the season.
Good, solid win over the Mavs tonight. I hope they can do the same for the home opener tomorrow vs. Lebron. I can't watch tomorrow night unfortunately...Friday night football!
when tony will can penetrate attention unstoppable tony with a sprained ankle of 3 day awsome
Good job Spurs!!!![]()
They're baa-ack.
To win on another team's court on opening night is tough to do in the NBA. Impressive win Spurs....keep it up......
GO SPURS GO
Spurs had 30 and 16 from the bench!!
I liked the way Parker played tonite. He was aggressive when he could, but he also did some passing. And he was excellent from the free throw line. Most of all, I was super-impressed with Francisco Elson. very athletic, very fast, and he did a good job on Dirk. Great way for our Spurs to open this season.
Now the question remains: Will tommorow show the curse of the back-to-backs again?
I'll sleep happy today.
And didn't he block a shot or two? No more small ball![]()
Ding dong the troll is dead, the troll is dead, ding dong the Maverick troll is dead.
If Parker can continue knocking down FT - the ability to put the ball in your all star PG's hands in crunch time will be extremely beneficial.
1) I love Tony's shot...he has confidence on the floor and at the line
2) Elson...what can I say...he attempted to dunk the ball more times in this game (I think he got 3 dunks and missed 1 or 2) than our previous centers attempted all season last year...he has great energy, and yes, he can guard Dirk and make him a little uncomfortable
3) I feel good things on the way
Spurs are 10-0 on opening night in the Duncan era
That was a second half domination folks. All our deficits in rebounds, turnovers, shooting, we made up in the second half. We ended the game with just one more turnover than them, just as many rebounds, five more assists, and better shooting % in all three categories...
