I say the Spurs should start the Cisco Kid tomorrow.
It was a great game for him...but it was one game...I am hoping he can be consistent. I think he can.whoever was calling elson "francisco ing elson" during the offseason... should eat his words now..
Everybody played reasonably well except Duncan.
Probably not to the degree of last year considering that Duncan and Ginobili are presumably healthy
If the game was in Cleveland tomorrow, I wouldn't like our chances. But seeing how it's our home opener and the fans will be pumped by our opening road win at Dallas, I think they'll carry the team to a win.
And I think Bruce will be a little pumped to but LeBron in his place...

Duncan, Parker, Manu, and Fin played either average for them or below average. If Bruce, Beno, and Elson play like this, I like our chances...

I also think Beno did well tonight as the backup point. Something tells me that somehow CIA Pop manipulated/exaggerated stories about Beno.

Everyone played average or below average (especially Duncan) and we still won. Good job. And there are no Mavs fans, what a surprise!
Dam I already miss the spurs after moving to orange county last weekend.. this is going to suck not being at home watching the spurs all the time... dam, dam .. dam...... this sucks... can't wait till I get that dang NBA league pass......
They play again on the 24th.

elson wow, elson was crazy good, impressed me much....best front court since 03
duncan didnt do as good as i thought he would but he stil came through when we needed him to
manu was great
parker needs to drive a bit more but with a twisted ankle i see why he didnt
and he was great with his jumpshot
no brent or bonner which i was a little dissapointed but im sure they wil get some time in the back to back against the cavs tomrow
beno was great
pop did a great job with the game and didnt play his team to much for tomrows game against lebron
