I refuse to go shopping on Black Friday. I hate dealing with the rabid crowds. I'd rather pay 3x the sale price than not be able sleep off my turkey hangover.

I want the cheap laptop Best Buy is selling. I'm staying up all night if I must.
I can't wait till Black Friday! My girlfriends and I have a tradition where we wake up at 4 am and go shopping all morning then out for breakfast.
You get the BEST deals then, it's insane and fun!
Midge you can go early with us. We can get drunk in line. That way when we get run over we won't feel anything.
Which Best Buy do you frequent?
San Pedro/410. I don't think we're going to Best Buy for that day though. So far I'm probably going to Office Max to get the TV they have there unless Circuit City comes through with better deals.
Hmm, a portable XM player (not live portable, but a downloadable MP3/XM device) for $30 at Cirtcuit City.
Thanks for posting the site. I've never really been into Black Friday since I worked them for 3-4 years straight, but I'm considering a new digital camera, so this might be a good route (and of course, now that XM device has my eye).
BTW, who's up for kidnapping our resident big-box store employees and forcing them to get us in for BF deals?
Anybody?
id go with you guys but i'll be out of town.
The Wal Mart and Circuit City ads are out. They have some decent deals, and I think CC had a 99 dollar laptop! Holy ?!?!!
Oh, and bas s put a slightly better laptop than the one I bought on sale for 50 bucks less. Damnit.
What are the specs/info on that laptop at Circuit?
I think I just found my camping spot.
Oh thanks for posting, I was just thinking about that. I love Black Friday deals. Not sure what directions we are going yet for gifts, but these can help. Wonder when Target's will be out?
Thanks. I didn't want to register for that site.
Damnit, it's $100 with one-year of Vonage.
$300 without. Still a good deal as a gift.
I still think I'm going to go for the 37 inch at OfficeMax. None of the TV offers really blow me away. If I didn't need something that I could move easily, Circuit City's door buster would be a good deal. But I need an LCD or Plasma, and I think 37 inches is as large as I'm willing to go.
I think I am going to get the 32-inch Westinghouse from Best Buy. I just wonder whether I'll have to get there really early and stand in line. I know places like Walmart get packed, but I am not sure if Best Buy will be the same way.
How much is a 12 month subscription to vonage?
If you want to avoid the lines, Target has one for a bit more on their website right now. I thought about getting the Target one, but I think I'd rather have the extra 5 inches or so.
Oh, and you bet your ass there will be people lined up outside of Best Buy. If you want one of those 32 inchers you'll have to be there earrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrlyyyyyy.
From my experience with working BF at BB, it does.
Get there really early, maybe even to sleep or overnight at the entrance.
25 x 12 = 300 dollars
so in the long run you get screwed
That depends on whether or not you were going to have a phone either way. If you were going to spend that much money on a phone line other than vonage, then there's not much difference.
