The mentality is there, but the body won't let you do it for 48 night in and night out. They need to consistently do it in the 4th and basically keep games close to even until the 4th.
very true. it's quite hard to do that over 82 games. as long as we have that intense defensive focus for the second season, i'll be happy.

I think we can add the Twolve announcers to the "homer" list. Particularly enjoyable is the fact that they thought they were going to win.

They didn't sound too bad to me. They were about as objective as a team's paid announcers are going to sound, and they made some good points. They are two of the better around the league in my opinion

Garnett only contributed 1pt in the 4th, if I'm not mistaken.

Odd to see a player as good as he is to just lay down like that...or was it bec of the Spurs defense?

I don't know, any time an announcer berates the home team's fans for being, in essence, biased, I kinda turn off.

I turned on the game right as they were bashing the fans, and they pissed me off, too.

Once the Spurs win was inevitable, though, they got better.

Yeah, that was a bit rough - but aside from that I thought their game analysis was better than a lot of other team's announcers. Every team's announcers are homers. If the Spurs were paying me a big chuck of change to broadcast their games to their fans... I'd be a smoking big homer too.

That's true. Once the Twolves threw in the towel, they were perfect gentlemen.
