Yeah Beno is a bum!
Yeah Beno has sucked. He's getting open looks every time and playing no D.
Anybody up for getting Desmond Mason for our expirings if New Orleans is out of it by the trading deadline? Mason is an expiring, too.
Jacque Vaughn. Do it!
Memo to Pop.
DON'T PUT THE BALL IN BENO'S HANDS At END OF QUARTER.
Beno should be gone by the trading deadline. Trade him for some damn Tyson Chicken if you have to.
They're in New Orleans. Might as well give the French guy some PT.
Mason is a really good defender and he shut down Kobe the other night. But he is grossly overpaid and a blackhole on offense where possesions go to die. Plus, hes only 6'5 and really not all that long.
But, hes a horrible FT shooter so he'd fit as a Spur.
He's about the same or worse.
on the plus side, Tim's only scored 6 points and the Spurs are up by double digits. Mainly because Manu's played spectacular basketball. It's really great seeing him in a rhythm again.
Better defense. Even worse offense.
At least he can handle the ball, and play defense.
Since Beno isn't hitting his shot tonight he's pretty much useless.
Is this the first game back in N.O?
I think they played a few games there last season.
They said it's the second of six games this season.
No. They played 6 games in NOLA last season and the home opener this year against the Rockets. Plus, there were several preseason games as well.
The good thing about Vaughn is that he knows he can't shoot so he doesn't shoot. Beno thinks he can shoot - but can't shoot. I'll take Vaughn for more PT
I don't think Vaughn would up trying to split a double team at the end of a quarter.
Beno can shoot. He just can't shoot tonight, and if he's not going to handle the ball well, and play poor D then he needs to sit his ass on the bench.
The Spurs need to trade Beno at the deadline and try and draft a decent backup PG. Anybody on the radar? I like Bokolo but hes just learning the point and would not be able to assume the backup duties for a while.
Um, yeah.
Did anyone else here that "goodbye" sound?
So is this team going to be permantly shared between OKC and N.O or will it revert back to just N.O?
It's interesting to hear how much money they'll need to rebuild New Orleans. But the local government is throwing so much money into making their pro sports franchises happy instead of rebuilding the city. It's just silly.
Ha yeah, kinda funny
