In that ten and ten stretch, how many darn games, could've gone the other way, and had it been what 16 and 4, and they are something and 13 and 4 games out?Spurs are now 20-10 in their last 30...their bumpy stretch from January 1 to February 11 (10-10) doesn't look so bad now. 17-4 record now needed for 60-win season.
Basketball is a funny game like that.
The team in the NBA Finals never gets "lucky". The better team always wins the NBA Finals. The Heat with Wade and Shaq in the lineup are better than Dallas. If both Wade and Shaq play atleast 75 games, they'll have a kick ass record. But injuries this year have masked how good the Heat really are.
What u talking bout they went "Smallball" First+
the spurs are just deeper like your MOM
The heat would dispute that. Not when you aren't good.
Yeah, SEVEN of those 10 losses were by 5 points or less. It's crazy....Spurs could be 47-14 if they win atleast 4 out of those 7 narrow loss games.

The Lakers in 04 were pretty lucky.
Yup yup.Yeah, SEVEN of those 10 losses were by 5 points or less. It's crazy....Spurs could be 47-14 if they win atleast 4 out of those 7 narrow loss games.
MANUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
Wow... he saved the day despite small ball. Hmm.. i thought Elson was brought in to combat small ball.
Oberto wasn't given much of a chance to prove himself either.
What was Pop thinking!??!!
Luck can get a team TO the Finals, but luck does not win the Finals. Lakers in 2004 (despite being heavy favorites, got lucky with Fisher's 0.4 shot), lost the Finals. Truth comes out
Same in 2006. Dallas, the heavy favorites (Luck on Ginobili's foul on Dirk), lost the Finals, truth comes out again.
If the Spurs could take care of the ball and not let a team get by them on cheap luck, they could have 4 straight NBA championships. Oh well...
Everyone that has ever won a championship has always had a little bit of luck on their side
it's part of the journey
Luck won't get you anywhere if you aren't good. It didn't get the Spurs out of the second round, folks. I guess making a bunch of threes to beat a lottery team makes the Spurs ready for the Mavs.
The Spurs just won a game... WGAF how... they won, the scoreboard which is the only thing that matters, ing said they won...
and you gaylords have something to gripe about? you're just plain dumb.
Just so you know:= me laughing at you.
Exactly thats What the SPURS do.... last year they were down 18 in the 4th and they came back and were a weak ass call away from the Finals...dont Hate the SPURS R Clutch
Spurs didn't have or need luck in the second round. Mavs needed it. We were up 3 in the closing minute of Game 7.
I don't think anyone here has said the Spurs will BEAT the Mavs, they have been ready for them all along though. These last 10 games, really to me is no big deal. Just another day at the office for the Spurs. Good job for the Spurs for beating who they are supposed to beat. They fixed their problem from earlier, losing to non-playoff teams.
Just because the Mavs too have been beating a bunch of lottery teams all year, doesn't make them the NBA Champions. Beat Miami first. Then talk.
Just so U know me drinking a Heineken after a Spurs WIN!
Conclusions drawn from this season:
1. When the Mavs have a 10 game winning streak against easy teams, it means they will be the NBA Champions.
2. When the Spurs have a 10 game winning streak against easy teams, it's just them taking care of business, beating who they are supposed to beat.
Just another example of how stupid the NBA media is.
Pretty sure the Mavs have beaten a whole lot more than lottery teams, unless the Spurs are a lottery team.
As for your comments on the playoffs, to say that the Mavs needed luck and the Spurs didnt is completely blind. Perhaps you weren't watching Game 5 when Dirk threw up too quickly what would have been an easy tip in at the end of the game because he didnt know how much time was left? Both teams needed, and both teams had, plenty of luck.
OK im gonna watch Southpark on HD w/my 360 and grab my girls ass n ties but dont tell her i said that PEACE!
You mean where Bowen blocked him from behind? Bowen was First Team All Defense, that's not luck, that's talent.
haha i dl'ed that earlier today
that show looks pretty damn good in HD
