Unless he's seriously hurting, I have to disagree with you. He started to finally get his groove at the end of the game. Manu isn't going to be able to keep this going every single game. We really needed TP tonight and he luckily came through in the end.
I was really impressed with Bonner. This was my first chance to see him play, and I liked his hustle. He can shoot, which is awesome for a big man, as it really helps to spread the floor. And I thought his defense was fantastic. There were several times when a King was driving on him and Bonner stayed in front of his man, contested the shot, but was able to keep from fouling. He seems to know how to contest the shot but also sort of fade away so that the driver can't force contact.
no just take his rythm he was great at the end sure he has shootes too much but it was open shoot and lay up one or two more game and these lay up are in
This interim guy on TNT wouldn't know what the to do if Sir Charles was there
Well Tony obviously didn't have any lift at all and was noticably limping. Maybe it's moreso from the wrap than the injury. If so, hopefully he's well enough to play without the wrap next game.
He'd have extra padding in his pampers

Be afraid, be VERY afraid
Thoughts:
-Ginobili is just stupid good.
-Duncan looked lively.
-Parker looked bad all game (still injured?) but came up with two pretty big shots.
-I think Bonner played his best game of the season. The Spurs bigs were being soft down low (especially with Williamson), and Bonner came in and ended that. He's not going to ever be a great defender, however he can be a tough defender.
-Elson looked like he'd never played basketball before. Why does he jump on a Williamson pump fake? If he doesn't jump, there's no way Williamson can get it over him. And then against Miller, Elson would jump for the block like three seconds too early.
-Oberto was better than Elson, but he wasn't physical enough down low either.
-Bowen was trying to do too much on offense. I thought his D was pretty good, though.
-Finley hit some big shots in the second half. His shoot has looked good recently. Barry played hard.
Overall, it was a good win. The Spurs didn't play overly well, but they got it done. Bonner's play was encouraging and I think he really took a step forward. He didn't try to do too much offensively, and defensively he didn't back down.
Kings executed like $hit today and still had a chance to win. C'mon Muss, Mike ing Finley was guarding Kevin and he runs an iso for Kenny![]()
Well I'm glad he's playing for our side. Can you imagine what it feels like to be on the other end game in, game out? ...![]()
I wish TNT were dedicated to showing sports highlights, not ESPN and Sportscenter. SC just gets worse and worse
i think we should not open a new forum for the Mavs fans. We'll miss this guy everytime the Spurs wins a game.![]()
Perhaps you can educate us on how they should play to get a ring?
owned.
o, I wondered if you noticed something...
IT'S THE FREAKIN REGULAR SEASON.
IT'S THEIR FIFTH GAME IN SEVEN NIGHTS AT THE END OF A FOUR GAME ROAD TRIP. RIGHT AFTER THIS THEY GET TO FLY AGAIN AND GET HOME AT FOUR-THIRTY IN THE MORNING.
THEY CAN BARELY REMEMBER WHAT TOWN THEY'RE IN MUCH LESS THAT THEY HAVE TO GIVE 110% SO SOME LAMEASS INTERNET POSTER WON'T CRITICIZE THEM.

True saying. This was a loss begging to happen (tired as plus past their bedtime, so also sleepy). They still won, so they must feel invincible.
