me too man
I want you guys to know that I sacrificed for you all tonight. I kept having to go out of the room to take care of my sick gf, and I noticed that every time I left, the Spurs went on a run, and every time I watched, they would go down by 6 plus. So I said f-it, and just drank beers taking care of my gf.
Who gives a right? GOOOOOOOOO SPPPPUUURRRSSSSS!!!!!!!!
me too man
Great clone![]()
Poor Dirk.
Go to the gym and find a punching bag, seriously.
Either that, or go to a bar and get legless. Just make sure there's someone there who likes you enough to carry you home.![]()
Even with the Nuggets denying that this series is slowly becoming a flashback of the 2005 first round series they played against the Spurs, there is no denying that the signs are there. In Game 1 of this series, Denver stole a win in San Antonio by the same point margin as in 2005. The only difference was the final score. But not all that different, only two points above the final score of the 2005 series for both teams.
Game 2 of this series was a little different. Denver hung around much longer, and the Spurs nine point win wasn't indicative of how they played, nearly blowing a 17 point lead down the stretch. It wasn't a completely dominant performance as the 2005 Game 2 was.
Next up, is another shocking similarity. In Game 4 of the 2005 series, I believe it was Earl Boykins who nearly tied the game down the stretch with a 3 point jumper, but it was ruled a 2 point shot because his foot was on the line. In Game 4 tonight, Steve Blake blew a chance to tie the game by stepping onto the three point line, leaving the Spurs with a one point lead that they never let go of.
Game 5 will be the final chance for the Nuggets to prove that this series hasn't slowly evolved into a replay of '05. But I don't think the Spurs will blow a chance to close out the series at home on Wednesday. After this hard fought win in Denver, a loss at home would be a letdown.
Spurs in 5.
What a true fan won't do for the team!!
I love seeing TD whine
Comes down to that the Spurs have 5-6 go-to guys and the Chicken Nuggets have 2 guys that do it all. The rest stand around and wait for garbage buckets, o-rebounds, etc. Can't win against a well-balanced team.
Now I'm gonna sleep gooood, wake up tomorrow and read the headline
Spurs go up 3 games to 1 against the Denver Nuggets, grab me
a victory taco and coffee and head off to work whistlin' like a pimply-faced 18 year old just back from La Zona!
Manny, you were right about tony. In the press conference Pop said all he did was design a penetration play for Tony to create.

I was thinking the same thing. Of course, I"m glad we won, but I actually felt bad for AI during his post.
And then that shot of Carmello sitting in the locker room looking pitiful...![]()
same here!!! but at least i am gonna stay up studying suppper HAPPY!
I only repeated what Horry said in the post game interview.
I think it's all instinct but yeah. He's an odd player. THat was a sweet three though. Put us up one.
Valero here I come... heh actually Austin Valero's probably aren't honoring the free coffee... but I'll pretend...
oh gotcha
I love these little meltdowns that you have!

I'd try to consult a therapist, psychologist and personal physician immediately
Us Austinites wont be enjoying free coffee until this fall sadly.
Hook Em Horns!
I hear what you're saying Manny, but I think it's apples and oranges. People say Dirk's a pussy because he doesn't score inside where all Horry does is shoot outside. If Dirk had Duncan to draw double teams for him, nobody would care that he shoots outside all day.
