This series is in no way over. Anybody remember the Spurs losing game 5 in 03 when Nowitzki was out with an injury. Who was the point guard back then, oh yeah Nash. I'm not relaxed one bit because of this. Spurs still have to come with their A game for every game, starting tomorrow night.
I want the Spurs to win, but I'm not really down with this ruling -- and I don't think it assures the Spurs of anything. The Suns could very easily ram their version of small ball (ala the Milwaukee Bucks) up the Spurs asses in Game 5.
I understand the rule, but I think there was wiggle room there for the league to have taken no action against Stoudemire and Diaw while giving Horry a game or even a steep fine.
Okay. To all of you Spursfans that are pissed about the PHX suspensions, "the series is tainted" etc etc. Do you think that it would even it back up if we were to lose tomorrow? And is that what you want? Because I honestly can say that deep in my heart I will take a championship anyway I can get it. Yeah it sucks that both teams can't be compe ve with their full teams or whatever but come on!
There are so many quirks to this league and game it's unreal. If you about calls one game, you're practically guaranteed to get alot more called for you the next. And that has absolutely nothing to do with basketball THE GAME! If you talk about one player doing something shady or illegal, you're practically guaranteed to have him watched alot more closely the next game. Psh, if this is the reward we get for having to put up with that bull than I'm all for it.

I'm expecting no less. Spurs typically do crappy when an oppenent is missing key player(s) ... Suns will be super-motivated, and their home crowds should be rabid.

I can already hear all the bad officiating complaints, and Suns get all the breaks. Gonna be awesome to watch the Spurs still lose because they still don't have equal talent to the Suns minus those 2 players.

Hey...I want the Spurs to win it all...I just don't look forward to all the "tainted series" bull the fans of other teams, especially Suns fans, would throw at us until the end of time.
