Spurs should win Game 4 for Bruce.

It has been a quite difficult year for him : waived of team america, Isiah Thomas ing, Amare Stoudamire ing, DPOY snub, an injury, shot off for a big part of the year...

He has been awesome in these playoffs. He has hit some big 3's (he has an insane 46.5% 3P%) and played good D while he has faced bad matchups during the whole playoffs. He has defended PG (AI, Nash, Williams) and strong SF (Melo, LeBron).

Now Spurs whould win game 4 for Bruce because it will alow Bruce to spend more time with his baby and because June 14th is his birthday.

A third ring as a birthday gift with a baby waiting at home could be a great ending for Bruce's season. Do it Spurs, win game 4, Bruce deserves it.
    Well said.

    I don't think I've been prouder of a Spur.

Physically, LeBron is maybe the worst matchup for Bruce in the league (Carmello's right there too though), and Bruce completely took James out of everything he wanted to do. I didn't think even Ditka could control LeBron.

It's quite clear Bruce enjoys his role, which is rare considering he doesn't get a play run for him, and has to defend players that are potentially not suited for him to defend such as LeBron, Iverson and even PF's like Bosh occasionally.

I have manlove for Bruce Bowen.

    Bruce friggin Bowen guys.

Man what a bad mofo. He hit more clutch threes consistently towards the end of these playoffs than he has in the past. Man he saved our asses so many times. How many times did he truely make a mistake?
    Bruce freakin bowen.

    Exactly.

45% on three-pointers throughout the playoffs.

Including the biggest shot of the whole playoffs .... the three-pointer in Game 5 against the Suns.

    Amazing.

Bruce Bowen shutdown Lebron James. And I was the 1st here to call it, when others doubted.

Bruce shut down Carmelo Anthony, Steve Nash, Deron Williams and topped it off with LeBron James. WOW! MVP-worthy performance I would say!

Bowen has been huge in this serie. Even if it's quite logical that Parker get MVP trophy, Bowen is the MVP of my heart.

Some numbers to backup Bruce great performance.

.356 : Lebron James FG% for the final.

23 : Lebron turnovers for the final. 5.67 turnovers per game.

42 : Bruce has played 42 mpg in the final. Not so bad for a 36 years old player.

7 : Bruce has only made 7 PF in 4 games. Less than 2PF/game defendign Lebron 40mpg is just unreal.

I underestimated Bowen before the series. 4 games through, the man was awesome.. I love this core.
