If only Suns could play ball at the same high level as their trolls bitterly talk trash.

How far from Phoenix do you assholes have to travel to actually find enough water that supports fish?

Where exactly was there a 14ppg a year in there. An MVP makes his team that much better, and taking a BAD BAD team and turning them into a 62 win team is an MVP year. They were deserved in every way.
That's a weak-ass argument. Here's two players that dramatically improved their teams but weren't given MVPs because of it:

When David Robinson joined the Spurs in '89 the team went from a 21-61 record to a whopping 56-26. That's a 35 game improvement(much better than Nash's 33 game margin).

The Celtics went from 29 wins to 61 when Bird joined in '79. That's a 32 game improvement.

What the has your team ever done worth noting? They are nowhere near the level of the top 3 teams in the legaue, being the Suns, Spurs and Mavs. They are kind of a joke to those teams that lucked out and missed the Mavs. You along with the Spurs fans in this thread are the dumbest ing sports fans I have ever come across. Unfortunately it will make me leave this board because you all are so damn clueless.

The Suns are the best damn team the Spurs faced all year, and they struggled most with them, but played best and won. The Jazz aren't very good, lucked out to get there and were run over. The Suns are far superior to them, and the Spurs superior to the Suns, FOR NOW. I accept the Suns lost the series, and always have, regardless of anything, they lost 4 times, but some of you fans are so damn idiotic you believe the Spurs should have swept them. Get over yourselves, and take a few minutes to learn sports, because most of you are the sumbest es there are.

I finally believe the fans on the Suns board are far and away more knowledgable fans, because there cannot be any dumber than you all.
The Jazz > The Suns. They call them the 'Suns'...or is it 'Sons'...because the Spurs sure looked like your daddy. And if that's the case, the Jazz are the younger brother who is better at everything, making the older brother (the Suns) jealous and pissy.

As far as I know the Spurs are very respected nationally. I have no clue what you're talking about.

As the Spurs aim for their fourth NBA le in nine seasons and third in the past five — a remarkable accomplishment that would enshrine the team in basketball's pantheon — the nation's sports fans are responding with a collective yawn.

Most of these Suns fans, with the exception of a few, are so close minded and clueless about everything that you saying this will just get them to always react the way they have. Blaming even the conflict on the Spurs, when it was really the little Suns fan that couldn't handle something not going their way again. The Suns fans are the biggest whiny es in the NBA, as it shows EACH and EVERY time they get a foul called on them. They win in the regular season, yes, I'll give them that, but they also bithc better than any team in basketball.

I meant in how Spurs fans are ripping on the Cavs and taking the championship already for granted.

I just had to pick the most popular thread in order to post it.

Warriors won that series even if they looked like girls against the Jazz.

Kudos on not responding to my post after I called you on your bull .

And second of all, you guys got whipped in four games. I'm not really sure that Utah has any room to talk. From top to bottom, Phoenix is better than Utah.

    Nash>Williams
    Bell>Fisher
    Marion>AK
    Thomas<Boozer
    Stoudemire>Okur

So I'm not sure where the whoe "Jazz are better" notion is coming from.

    Jazz bench >>>> Suns Bench

Jazz in WCF. Suns Fishing. You got whooped in 6, and the Spurs didn't play half as well as they did in the WCF's. Add on the fact that this was our first run with this group of guys, and that just makes the Jazz look that much scarier.

    Jazz > Suns.

    Suns fans,

there comes a point in time where you just have to get on with your life and accept that your team lost. its just a game that you have no control over. whining makes you look worse, and you guys are trying endlessly to win over every grain of respect from Spurs fans to make your series loss seem less painful. its ugly to watch. you guys will never win on this site. its like trying to find your way out of the Sahara without a map

No, it doesn't. The 80's Lakers played fast break basketball, and they certainly didn't play small ball. Same with the lineup Phoenix used against San Antonio. There is in fact a difference.

Oh yeah, I must've forgotten about all of the championships that Utah. Last time I checked they don't give out rings for finals appearances.
    Okay, so 'there's a difference.'

There's also a difference in the 80's Lakers and the '07 Suns. LMAO @ them being in the same paragraph right there. Stoudemire = SMALL for a center. Marion = SMALL for a PF, and lots of times, that's the frontcourt. Small. Ball.

Whatever you want to call it, it didn't advance as far as the Jazz did. Good day.

Hmmm... so we have sixth man of the year Leandro Barbosa and a starting caliber player and former MIP in Boris Diaw coming off the bench... but we have a worse bench. That makes a whole lot of sense.

    This is true.

No concept is better than the other one. It's how you execute your goal to win the game. Teams have won championships playing fast break, and teams have one them playing half court. Totally irrelevant.

The only reason you got to the second round is you played cupcake Golden State while we played San Antonio. As soon as you played the same opponent, you lost and in less games. And the Spurs are the model for consistency in the NBA, I'm not buying that they decided to play crappy in a series that most pundits believed would decide the NBA championship.

And yes, after Steve Nash retires and D-Will/Boozer have more experience, than Utah will probably be better than Phoenix. But they weren't better this year, and they won't be better next year either.

"Your team may be going for its fourth le... but, but, we don't respect you!!!"

The Phoenix Suns are the oldest NBA franchise not to have won a le. They are cursed. I understand the angst. They need an outlet.

Oh. Kudos on not starting a new thread. There's premature ejaculators everywhere. Some of us learned our lesson concerning that a long time ago. I got rudely surprised by the Lakers a couple of times.

That said, the Cavs are not as good as anyone the Spurs have faced so far, and it's not like anyone has pushed them particularly hard. If the Spurs find a way to lose this series it's a monumental choke. Fortunately it'll only be the second biggest choke of this year's playoffs.

Boris Diaw ing sucked this year. Last year was his only good year, and he wouldn't see the floor on the Jazz. I'd rather have Jarron Collins on the floor than Diaw. Remember all that ing about the suspensions? Diaw came back and scored 1 point. Saweet.

Barbosa is good. But obviously, your rotation blows. James Jones wouldn't see the floor on the Jazz. TWO bench players doesn't make you deep. That makes you 7-deep. Which sucks. The Jazz' 2nd unit is Fisher, Gordan Giricek, Matt Harpring, Paul Millsap, and Jarron Collins. Giricek & Harpring >>>>>> Jones & Rose. Not to mention we have Brewer (uber-athletic and energetic) Dee Brown (ditto) and CJ Miles (Young, young shooter). Marcus Banks and Pat Burke? Oh wait, I shouldn't mention these names because apparently your 'bench' is Barbosa and Diaw. That's it. That makes you deep? And deeper than the Jazz? Pah-lease.

Please don't tell me that smallball is going to win a championship in this era. If you think that, you're lying to yourself.

EDIT: And Golden State was the hottest team in the league. Hitting 14 3's a game over the last 3 games of the Mavs series and over the first 3 of the Jazz series. Cupcake only describes their style of play, same with the Suns.
DWill owns Nash when we play. It won't take the Un-MVP's retirement to make us better than the Suns, we already are.
