The format for bidding on a player is as follows:

    1) Start a thread with the first and last name of the player as the le of the thread.

    2) Post your proposed contract in this format:

    PLAYER NAME
    NUMBER OF MONTH, $*.*M
    MONTH 1 = $*.*M
    MONTH 2 = $*.*M
    MONTH 3 = $*.*M
    (and so on)

    3) If you wish to place a higher bid for the same player, reply in the topic and use the same format.

    -----------------------

Here are some things to remember:

    1) You are awarded the player if no one has outbid you after 3 days.

    2) Contracts must be a legal contract according to the rules stated in the below thread.

    3) If you have a bid out on a player, that counts against your salary cap. Remember, you can't go over your salary cap in this stage of the game.

Can you please use extra-large bold fonts for item #2 in your list.

    Thank you.

Is "three days" 72 hours, or the morning of the third day after wards?

    My vote is 72 hours.

NM... I just noticed GoN asked that question in the other rules thread.

    Great minds think alike.

And so do me and GoN.

OK, stupid question that I'm sure has already been covered a million times in all the chats, etc. that I've missed. Can we have more than $43.8M in contract offers out at the same time? Obviously, we can, but is it against the rules? It seems as though (not pointing fingers or anything because I'm probably one of them) that some have more than $43.8M out there or more than 12 contract offers. Is this ok for now?

You can't have more than $43.8M out there on bids. To see how much you have, find the first month value of each of your winning bids and add them together.

Also, you can't have more than 13 winning bids at the same time (12 player spots and 1 IR).
