Pop just admitted that his subs ution patterns and defenses were poor in the 4th quarter.
I KNOW!!! It sucks when such a fun game ends with a victory, but still leaves a bad taste in my brain. We almost blew the game due to Pop.

Pop just said he made bad decisions in the 4th quarter
I was so happy...it was gonna be a blowout...but NOOOOOOO... the Spurs...they suck...I'm gonna be a Suns fan next year...at least they know how to hold a lead.![]()
Tough Dirk... your dreams did not come true.![]()
I'm sure they didn't expect that kind of run but what are you gonna do?
With or without our starters we should have stepped on their necks early in the fourth. This CAN'T happen in their place.
I was making the point due to the fact it was mostly against our scrubs and not our starters. I counted 2 wide open 3's that Damon Jones alone made against them.
Thanks Dirk.
A Spurs win is never complete until you throw your fit!
You're as dependable as the Spurs defense is!
Have a great night. See you at the end of the game blog Tuesday.
Music to Aggie Hoopsfan ears, Pop admitted that his subs utions in the 4th sucked.
I man not only the Defense, I mean Bowen driving and shooting pullups?? C'mon!!
I understand why you are pissed...I am ing pissed too.
But look at it this way...the Spurs will not be overconfident for game 3. We will be fine.
Spurs in 5.
wins a win ill take it
CAVS WILL WIN THE NEXT 3 GAMES! THEY WONT LOSE AT HOME. BETTER START TALKING ABOUT FACING ELIMINATION ALREADY BECAUSE COME NEXT SUNDAY NIGHT/EARLY MONDAY MORNING YOU WILL BE DOWN 3-2! BOOK THAT MOTHER ER!
Anyone know if Finley was Hurt?? I noticed he only played 15 min. I recall something about he back tightenig up in game 1, but today? Have I missed something?
Any info on this would be appreciated.

Yeah lucky that Pop left that crazy lineup TOO long in the 4th. Can't say that I blame him, but as soon as that league dropped below 20, I'm bringing my starters back in. The only thing I can say is that the starters played the way we probably felt when Cle was making their run.
History will show that we won this game pretty decisively.
Exactly!!! I wanted to see the Spurs finish strong. Pop clearly put the scrubs in way too early. He won't make that mistake again. In the long run, this might be a good thing for the Spurs. I guaran- ing-tee you that even with a huge lead, Pop leaves the starters in until the last 2-3 minutes from now on.
Go to sleep dammit.....dream your sorry team was in the playoffs.
Wrong again Dirk.
I won't say way to early, but he left them in waaay to long. Well... now that I think about it a little of both.
From the Cavs to the Spurs in the fourth quarter...
Hands down, goes to Tony Parker practicing his wedding dance down the middle of the lane and the officials looking for some wedding cake. Cavs had a chance to cut the lead to six, but instead three steps later and a wedding song Tony Parker was credited with a circus shot.
He also should've staggered the subs utions.Take one starter out, then another, then another.
I can't believe he let the lead go from 29 to 12 before he realized his mistake. AAAAAAAGHHHHH![]()
A guy with LeBron on his team complaining about too many steps.![]()
So...if Tony Parker had been called for traveling.....the Spurs would have had absolutely, positively no chance to win at all?
