Respect to Lebron. He's got good sportsmanship. He'll probably win a championship sometime in his future unlike Steve Trash and Amare Stoudewhiner who will continue to for the rest of their pathetic NBA careers.
For the die-hard Sprus fan, I guess Game 3 is a happy occasion. You say, "we won, we won, and a win is great whenever and wherever you can get it." Maybeeeeeeee, and I'm a Spurs fan like most of the guys on here, but this really was a piece a crap performance on both sides. And it's been crappy from the get-go.Yes, there were some positives tonight, but all this SLOPPY PLAY, pathetic field goal percentages, pathetic free throw percentages, all the friggin turnovers, and yes, the idiot refs and their brain dead bad calls. And then there's the MORON SUPREMO'S at Asshole Broadcasting Company (ABC) to confound and confuse things even more.
This NBA Finals is definitely not one where I'll be saving any of the recorded tape and DVD's. Hats of to San Antonio if they get their 4ths le but I hope they do some reflection on how it came about. They can look at their regular season after the all star break and say, "hey, we played some good ball down the home stretch", and that would be very true, and they should be pleased with several of those Feb-April games. But this farce we see now is really a shame.
But worse, Cleveland, most of all, is positively the most pathetic team I've seen in 20 years to make it to the Finals. It would be so much better if the head millionaires that run things would simply do away with this playoff altogether.
At the end of the regular season, let the two teams with the best records enter a 5 or 7 game Finals matchup and the winner is the new champ. THEN you get rid of these NOT READY FOR PRIMETIME jokers like Cleveland, who back their way into the annual basketball showcase.
Naturally, I realize this would have also eliminated San Antonio this year as Dallas would have been the candidate for the West, and that would not be good for Spurs fans, but I cannot imagine things being worse had Dallas, with the best record in the West, played Detroit, the team with the best record in the East. Nope, no le for SAS, but we would not have been subjected to all this we're seeing now.
But the ing moron millionaires, and their moron cronies at the idiot TV NUTworks, must have an excuse to stretch this out an additional two months.
They may well play another game in a few days, but who the cares?

Well, I didn't much expect any positive reply to my previous comment. But you chaps with your nasty comments tell me that you have no interest in quality basketball. You apparently are OUTCOME BASED in your approach to things. All you care about is A SPURS WIN. You don't seem to give a damn how it comes about. Good play, ty play, dirty play, anything will do, eh? THAT is nothing to be proud of gentlemen.
But your comments simply ad fuel to my previous remarks, that yes indeed, the Spurs AND Cavs shouldn't even be in the Finals this year. LOOK AT THE SLOPPY gameplay. Are we not seeing why San Antonio did not win 31 road games, as did Dallas? Sure. So you sorry s that just want YOUR TEAM to win, even when they play like crap, I feel bad for you. Such people do not have a genuine appreciation for the game. If the Spurs win, playing like the crap, what good is it? And especially for people on this board, and fans everywhere? Is Duncan and Parker going to give the people on this message board part of their winnings????
A game like the one on Tuesday was bound to happen between these two teams. Cleveland is an excellent defensive team, almost as good as the Spurs, but they are absolutely awful on offense. They made it this far at least as much on account of their defensive efficiency as on the shoulders of LeBron James. The Spurs turned in a poor game, much like Game 2 in Phoenix or Game 3 in Utah. The difference is that Cleveland sucks so bad on offense, that the Spurs could still win.
Your argument about Dallas is bizarre, I must admit, given how they promptly choked against Golden State in the first round. That is your vision of the team that should be representing the West?
And Detroit should go over a Cleveland team that won just three fewer games in an 82-game season, and then beat the Pistons in a best-of-7 series?
I think you have a very different vision of what the sport of basketball is supposed to be.
