This pick was 58..two picks from being a free agent. If that raptors pick turns out to be a low 30's pick Spurs could look like geniuses AGAIN.
2 of the three picks where stash and worry about in 20 year euros.Uh, TPark -- if you noticed, we used the pick we traded for last year. We made two picks in a draft--and pretty much guaranteed another higher second rounder next summer. What more should anyone expect
The other is used on a small forward that doesn't play defense and has serious at ude problems.
What more?
How about drafting a guy that will actually play on the team?
Its amazing how Cleveland, and all these other franchises can draft guys like Boozera nd what not but the Spurs can't.

Answer the ing question, jackass..
Do you think that Mr. #58 would have broken the 7/8 man rotation of the San Antonio Spurs. Question.
[ah now were talking about me again.QUOTE]will you not answer the question like a man?
Do you really think the 58th pick would have made the 7/8 man rotation
I've said for the thousandth time.
Im not talking exclusively about the 58th pick.
Are you serious? We have two of the biggest draft steals in the past 6/7 years. Are you just pissy or are you trying to make a legit argument?
It's amazing how your stupid ass, who knows jack about basketball, continues to whine about a team that went ten deep in the playoffs (Spurs) didn't run their draft like a team that only had three good players (Cleveland).
Just log off. Every post you make just digs a deeper hole for your basketball ignorant ass.
They don't have an immediate need for a point guard and a forward?Probably because you know that you don't have an immediate need and that there is a possiblity of there being someone to fill a need in a future draft. Besides, the possibility of injuries taking out the Raptors giving the Spurs a much better 2nd rounder for this one pick is also there. If the Raptors tank next year and the Spurs get a 35th for a 58th, will you be ing then?
No need for a big man thats worth a ?
Whos to say when they get the guy in the second round, that it wont be another euro, and he won't be stashed in europe until 2015?
Its the same over and over and over.
I would say they draft Boozers less often than we draft Manus, Giriceks and Scolas.
You are expecting far too much from the very end of the second round when this team has already done far more than most teams ever could from that position.

Typical childishness.
Who in this draft available to the Spurs would have been able to play right away? Who would of even been worth tying up a roster spot on a loaded team?
Answer the question. You ed for five pages about the Spurs trading pick #58. So you obviously give a . Do you think he would have broken the rotation?
The other two guys will be on the Spurs, so what is your ing problem? Sand in the vagina again?
T -If nothing else listen to this point. Then STFU.
god i love this forum![]()
Who, at #58, do you think would have a) been our backup PG, or b) been our backup SF?
Question.
Uh, did you forget that Ginobili was drafted at #57 and Parker at #28? They don't ing grow on trees dude.
I don't see why you're getting your panties in a bunch over Tiago Splitter. It was a good pick. He'll be here in 2009. If we drafted Rudy Fernandez instead, you wouldn't be complaining.
You are expecting far too much from the very end of the second round when this team has already done more than most teams ever could from that position.
I'll say it again.
IM NOT TALKING EXCLUSIVELY ABOUT THE 58TH PICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE TWENTY EIGHTH WAS ANOTHER STASH IN EURO PICK!
Don't draft in 03? Oh yeah, only missed out on Josh Howard.
Don't keep Barbosa. Don't draft Michael redd.
It goes on and on.
wow, this isn't a personal attack. But i'm convinced you're 15 and you've had a bad night. I guess we can leave it at that....
Shoulda drafted Strawberry and let him be a Toro for a year or 2 instead. Terrible draft by the Spurs tonight. Too much talent and they didnt capitalize on . Wasted picks on too many foreigners
THEY TOOK OUR JOBS

You are such a ing . This isn't about you. It's about your Laker Lanny quality take.
Answer the question, for the 80th ing time.
Who do you feel would have stepped up as backup PG or backup SF at the #58 pick. OR #33 pick? .
So Beno Udrih >>>>> anything in this draft?Who in this draft available to the Spurs would have been able to play right away? Who would of even been worth tying up a roster spot on a loaded team?
Please. Stop.
You are expecting far too much from the end of the first round and the middle of the second round, too.
Can I get a Link?Where is this reported?
If its not me, why keep personally attacking me?You are such a ing . This isn't about you
They don't have an immediate need for a PG that would be worth the roster slot. They will more than likely address that in FA, but I don't see anyone available in the draft that would have been productive to the Spurs in 2008.
They got a center and a forward with 28 and 33. Will they pan out? I trust the people that worked them out more than anyone on here. We'll see.
Dumb foreigners.
Everyone knows they can't play bball, especially if they're drafted in the second round.![]()
