They don't have an immediate need for a point guard and a forward?Probably because you know that you don't have an immediate need and that there is a possiblity of there being someone to fill a need in a future draft. Besides, the possibility of injuries taking out the Raptors giving the Spurs a much better 2nd rounder for this one pick is also there. They don't have an immediate need for a PG that would be worth the roster slot. They will more than likely address that in FA, but I don't see anyone available in the draft that would have been productive to the Spurs in 2008.
They got a center and a forward with 28 and 33. Will they pan out? I trust the people that worked them out more than anyone on here. We'll see.
